Am I the only one to run Google sheets centric workflows? It’s a living excel file that integrates with almost everything (especially with the use of past Appsumo deals like Aphipany that give your Google sheets third party API super powers). So everything I do for myself and clients, whether B2B or B2C, social media or Ecom, tends to run through sheets. It has come to the point where lacking an API (which I can call through Google sheets) or lacking native integration with Google sheets has become a deal breaker for any saas for me as it simply doesn’t jive with my productivity.

Up to this point when it came to video creation I was stuck as I had no tools that use Google sheets. The closest to it was Hyperise but that’s got a limited use case, no matter how great it is at it.

Enter WOXO — you had me at “mass produce videos from Google sheets”!

Imagine the use cases with social media posts alone, if you have something like, say, content villain with API use, that you can invoke from a Google sheet to craft niche content via GPT3…. Edit the output for clarity and then transform it into video… there you have video content for months and months.

The possibilities are endless and so far it’s the first solution of its kind that allows me to leverage my time when it comes to video creation, which in the past was a laborious process I couldn’t scale.

What’s missing here though is high quality AI powered text to speech to compliment the video offerings with a voice track. As cool as dynamic, semi programmatic video creation at scale is, the utility is highly limited if the videos don’t have a voice track. If they figure out a way to incorporate voices that can be programmatically called through Google sheets and be merged with the videos — high quality voices on par with Lovo’s — this tool will be untouchably hot 🔥

Another thing I don’t love are the limits on downloading videos for the highest tier. They’re generous limits but still too low to allow mass use of this tool for cold prospecting with personalized video. I’m personally not affected as I have a tool I love for that purpose but I imagine it might limit the utility for someone else who’s considering it for that use.
