Q: Uses for WP301 Redirects
Hi, I'm new to this form of traffic redirections so I have 2 questions:
1) I have a few expired domains (local keyword exact match domains) with good Trust authority and DA, in checking WayBack on the site back when it was up, there are a number of blog articles that would still be relevant in today Search world. Can you explain how using this tool might be able to help me keep the authority in Google's eyes (no 404s etc) and not lose clicks?
2) I have a few domains I've acquired after they were abandoned by YT Channel Creators that are no longer active on Youtube video channels, but their videos are still commanding lots of daily views, and I'd like to redirect those clicks to an affiliate product or signup page. Can this be accomplished with WP301 Redirects? E.g. www.cryptonet.com/cryptoprofits (made up URL)

Thanks for taking an interest in WP 301 Redirects!
1) Yes, you can do that. Just install the plugin on the site, and create new redirect rules. Since you say they're expired, you would of course have to renew the domains and install WordPress on the site, so you install the plugin in the first place.
The plugin will also help you identify 404s, so you can then redirect them.
You can also turn on automatic redirections, so people get automatically redirected if they enter the wrong URL. For example, if the try to open yoursite.com/contatc instead of yoursite.com/contact, the would be automatically redirected to the right page :)
2) Sure, it's a simple redirect rule you can create to redirect such a page from your site to any other page/site you want. However, note that you can't redirect a YouTube video; you can redirect a page where the video was embedded from your site.
