WP 301 Redirects Reviews

At first it seemed like a great product.
When I started to use it, it was making a tremendous amount of pages.
Since I built my website on WordPress, I figured I probably messed a bunch of things up that it was fixing.
In some cases, that was true.
But day after day, it kept moving things...Totally shuffling really.
Then I learned how to use Google Search Console, which should me hundreds of pages could not be indexed because they had 301 redirects.
It got worse. It started redirecting major pages to minor blogs, and redirected my homepage to our merchandise page, and so on.
All it did was shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, and confuse Google.
Then it added a bonus - it totally slowed down my site to dial-up speed.
We had a pretty fast site until this product came along.
This is so bad that my attorney is reviewing a case study for legal action as a possible recourse because I was able to prove income loss.
AppSumo should be careful promoting such software programs. I'd never sue AppSumo, but someone else might, so please review these guys a little more thoroughly. You might save someone's business in the process.

I was using the free versions since few years ago, but i fount the pro version here, and make the change. We have a marketing and web dev agency and it helps us a lot with our client's website. If you could buy it, do it... don't think a lot about that.

Stay well away from this plugin and find an alternative, unless you're fine with underhanded practices and egregious HTTP requests back to their own server. The plugin creators, WebFactory Ltd, go to lengths to silently add their own plugins to the first positions on the 'Add plugin' page on your dashboard. There's no indication that these have been added by a third party, and you have no control over this whatsoever as there's no option to control it. I poked through the plugin's code and there's not even a hook to stop this nefarious behaviour, it's astounding.

Sent them an email about this a while back and they never even bothered to reply. Here's the email, verbatim:

"1) It's absolutely disgraceful that you maliciously add two of your own plugins to the 'Add plugins' menu, in first and second position, with no disclosure that you're doing such. On a premium plugin, mind you.

2) What is with the insane HTTP requests to your API? That there's no setting for this and you's think this is okay is absolutely mental!"

I used this plugin for quite a long time, but never again.

It took me few days to understand how to use the plugin, but now it very very useful.
I also contacted support and got quick support via email.

This is a very easy and powerful tool to use. I love how quick you can set up redirects.
