WP Compress

Product details

Q: Hello, I am using JCH Optimize Plugin in conjunction with Cloudflare Edge Caching.

This configuration kind of messes up with WebP delivery. I have tried using ShortPixel CDN, but it really slowed down my website as the images weren't getting loaded even though my webpage has been fully loaded.

My desktop website is super-quick, loading in around 0.7 seconds and easily clearing the Google CWV criteria. However, it's the mobile device, where the connection speeds are slower, my site struggles a bit mainly due to images as I am unable to use WebP.

Do you think your plugin can benefit me in any way, given that I am not willing to experiment with my caching system in place?

Just to add, I am using WebP Express to convert the images to WebP. So, would also like to know if WP Compress can offer better compression as compared to WebP Express.

Hi AS! 👋

We're happy to help replace your CDN or allow you to utilize the adaptive images and personalization features.

You're welcome to use it with your current caching environment, personally I've never tried that plugin but we simply recommend not doubling up on settings (lazy loading, css / js minify etc.)

You wouldn't have to change your system in place as fortunately you can toggle on/off any settings in our portal as needed and experiment on our end. Be sure to clear caches though so you're seeing the latest on your site!

We do get great sizes/speeds with automatic WebP conversion; however, I don't have a comparison with WebP Express - the main difference is we aim to be all-in-one so that you can manage image optimization, WebP creation, CDN and more all from one system as well and manage clients as needed! 🚀

We're happy to help configure your environment as well via live chat support! 🙌🏼

Let us know if we can help with anything else!
