I had purchased the ShortPixel deal way back when CDN was included, but their newer deal(s) lack free CDN, sometimes largely defeating the purpose (though it's still great at optimization!)

I was excited to see WP Compress as it's a very intuitive, simple (yet powerful) plugin to optimize your site's assets and serve them quickly, and optimally, to visitors - freeing up site storage and improving speed!

The UI is one of my favorite things - very modern, fresh and energized. Even though there's not much you have to do in order to optimize your site, it's a pleasure to look at!

I also love the Custom Domain for the CDN which adds that really nice polish to your assets.

Rumor has it, they're also working on a SaaS iteration of the product, similar to ShortPixel, where you can compress images via their site for your use however you need/want and not explicitly tied to a WP site - so I'm excited for that!

The other aspects I was excited about were their Advanced features where you can serve things like your JS and CSS files via CDN as well - however, and I don't know if this is a bug or limitation of Tier 1, but there were certain Advanced features that are locked, despite the AppSumo deal being mapped to the Professional Plan, which is the appropriate plan to unlock those features. I don't know if it's purely a limitation of just Tier 1 or if all tiers are subjected to that limitation; I would like clarification from AppSumo and/or WP Compress regarding that. I won't ding a taco for that, because I'm sure that will be remedied, but a bit misleading to say the least.
