So far this is working great. It's clean and easy to use. Helps keep my projects and collaboration organized in on place. I think the front-end can use a little bit more improving. I'm not starving today so I gave it 4 tacos, mainly because:
1.) There is no way to export projects and import like just about any other plugin out there. Seems I would need to go into the database, and I really try not too. 2.) Doesn't seem to be a way to edit notification emails ( I don't like the current design, seem outdated) 3.) I know other commented about this, now my license says it expires in 10 years. I also bout WP User Frontend from here, that license says it expires in 50 years. I think everyone will feel better if the WP PM was also changed to 50 years or 100 years, since it seems that it can be changed. 4.) I wish there was a way to link the files section of a project to Microsoft OneDrive, or Google Drive, DropBox, S3, etc. for those projects that have tons of file or huge design files that I don't need/want to upload to my WP site. 5.) No mobile app! 6.) No sync to Gmail/Outlook calendar
Well, I use only WordPress for my web developments needs. I also have to deal with clients and one of the most difficult situation I encounter very often is how to be organised the best way to accomplish all tasks for each client.
I think that what disappoint me is that clients sometime don't really give real value on what I do, I think they are right if we don't give them proof on what we are doing for them. Enter WP Project Manager. I was looking for something like this having tried quite a few different project managers but I gave up especially because I had to use a non familiar environment. Things are completely different with this little gem that is WP Project Manager, it live inside WordPress! I feel home when I use it... Thanks to it we have the chance to keep track on all the activities we do for a client that we can show them by sending a report or inviting them to login their profile.
Now the bad part of my review, after having used the plugin for few days I have already found few BAD BUGS that prevent me to keep going using the product until the developer fix the issues.
The project duplication (they should seriously add templates facility like most of the project managers around do) don't copy over the the kanban automation setting, the custom colours and also the capabilities setting: sadly they revert to default so I am wondering what they mean for duplicate a project if only the tasks are copied over? Also each task list get the word "copy" appended to their name after duplication which is quite annoying to remove manually if you have over ten tasks list.
I have already reported the guys at wedevs.com all issues I discovered by sending them a couple of videos. Just a praise: The customer support they provide is very good, when I used their chat I had a reply after few minutes.
I have enough faith to trust this company and confident that they will fix all issues and improve more their project manager, just one suggestion... Google calendar integration.

Hi,
Thanks for your review.
By default, it will duplicate the project, project category, task-list, tasks, discussion, and milestone. It will not duplicate any settings (project/kanban board), files and invoice. However, I have kept your feature suggestion in our log that we can implement it in the near future.
I've been using WP PM with my team since I installed it last week. I love the idea of having a PM system that works within WP. I decided to use one of my unused domains to install it. There are Pros and Cons:
PROS: 1. Love that I can create separate project 2. It's great that I can have discussions within a project 3. The ability to have private projects and tasks is cool too 4. The support desk is very responsive and helpful
CONS (only one but it's major): 1. Lack of notifications onsite causes extra work to go back and forth with email to see when comments are made in projects. I would prefer that a notification popup appear or somehow a notification alert onsite happens. Right now, I'm missing communications from my team members. Especially if I'm busy on a project and not watching my email. Not having this feature is holding me back from stacking and from completely moving over to WP PM.
I have some analysis and attention. I'm testing all the time and I'm not convinced of WP PM. I am not sure if the concept to build a project management system in WordPress is correct.
1) We get a solution that has its pros and cons of WordPress, all its superstructure. And all in all, I don't know why, since everyone is managing in the WP Panel. I'm wondering if it's better to developing this system a new one without WP. Then you would not have problems with the weaknesses of the system which is the WordPress.
2) Update and security issues With WP PM Pro in WordPress, 2 questions are: a) Security of WordPress itself and the possibility of data leakage b) WP PM Pro updates and its continuous development
3) The issue of speed, especially when the system is loading data. As long as it starts with a pure WP PM we can organize that it will work quickly. However, over time, when the data will grow and in greater quantity than on a blog in WordPress - the system is available and you need to wait 1,2,3 ... seconds to open the project, tasks, etc.
4) No mobile application. I can't imagine working in today's world without mobile solutions. So that we don't have the Android / IPhone application for Trello, Assana, Google Calendar, Gmail ... I know, someone will say, you can always run it in Chrome on your smartphone ... but that's not it. You can't work in traffic.
5) No synchronization with Google Calendar, Microsoft Office 365...
6) No synchronization with other applications (IFTTT, Zapier)
7) Lack of one place where you can collect all tasks from all projects for me divided into categories (phone, shopping, car, delegated ...). Something that Asana, Nozbe … or even Project.co has. So that I can continue to manage it.
Here in WP PM, you need to enter and focus on a given project, and you can't act on all of the collected data, tasks.
8) Inability to send tasks to the system in the form of an e-mail (something that has Asana, Trello, Nozbe ...)
9) I understand that it is more about WP PM being directed at programmers and webdevelopers?
But if so, then the unlimited sites/domains is missing, something people in Appsumo are asking for. There is now an option to buy more (10,20,30.…), but if someone wants to have such a set tied for longer, they would like to have unlimited availability (as in such in WordPress addons: Themeisle, Essential Addons for Elementor …).
---
I am looking at WP Project Manager for now and maybe I will change my mind over time. But I have a lot of fears so far.
For comparison, I have another solution that was here Ora.pm. I'ts work on incomparably optimally, comfortably, also to work in PM, Scrum, Agile ...
WordPress is a very good system as CMS, blog. But not to force him to bend to Project Manager.
It will not be a reliable system such as Asana, Wrike, Trello.
Unless we implement or support it. Work as support for implemented solutions.
These are additional problems on mind. Do you want it or not?

Hello,
We are really sorry if you did not find all the features you needed. You could easily check everything before making a purchase. We have a live demo and support section.
Now, after purchasing the product, if there are any missing feature that does not mean that the plugin is bad and it deserve 1 star. You could provide a rating if any default functionality is not working and we did not...
I have tried WP Project Manager before and it is good but was lacking one feature I really wanted so I didn't go with it. I now need it for something else and can do without that feature so it will do for what I need it for now. It is easy to use and would recommend it. One issue I found with this deal though. After I purchased this "lifetime deal" I saw the license expires in 5 years, as we all know 5 years is not a lifetime. I have contacted AppSumo about this and am waiting their response. I will update this review once they respond to me and let me know what's going on.

Hi,
We always care about our client's needs. It would be very helpful if you describe in detail about the feature you are looking for that I can kep in our log to implement it in the near future.
You are correct. 5 years is the initial period of this license. After 5 years, we will extend it :)
