Q: I noticed during testing that the calendar doesn't auto-refresh when you drag 'n drop an item.
Can this be added/improved?
Also, I've noticed in a similar plugin the ability to subscribe to the calendar in iCal or Google calendar. That would be an awesome addition! Don't see a place on the roadmap for new feature suggestions - so dropping this here for consideration.
Hi Sumo-ling, I am sorry for the dealyed response. Schedule Calendar actually automatically detects the changes you make. Once you drag & drop a post to another date, it changes its status in real time and it's shown in Schedule Calendar in real time as well. Please check out this doc: https://wpdeveloper.net/docs/wp-scheduled-posts/what-is-schedule-calendar-how-does-it-work/
Or are you referring to something else? Please let me know so that I can help you out. Thank you.
Q: I'd love to see Pinterest integration; as well as other social platforms.
Hi Sumo-ling, we already have recently intorduced integration with LinkedIn. Have you tried that out yet? We already have a plan to bring more integrations for social share platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram and others very soon. Thank you!

Hi Sumo-ling, Sorry for the delayed response. 3 code will give you access to Unlimited Sites license of WP Scheduled Posts. You can simply redeem your first coupon by following this doc: https://wpdeveloper.net/docs/redeem-appsumo-coupon/
Then, you can stack the 2 other coupons by following this one: https://wpdeveloper.net/docs/stack-appsumo-coupon/
I hope this helps you out. Thank you.
Q: Hi, is there a way to schedule post updates?
For example, if I publish a post today, can I schedule pre-made updates/modifications for later in the year (or the following year)?
Hi, Sumoling. Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, we already have a plan to add the 'Schedulle Republish' feature in the upcoming update. You can check it on our roadmap and feel free to upvote it: https://trello.com/c/XYnerU87/32-schedule-republish Thank you.
Q: does this come with lifetime updates and lifetime support?
- Are all the future upgrades of ALL the platform included? 2.- Do you have a public Roadmap? 3.- Multisite compatible with individual settings? 4.- Do you allow to use this plugin in a WaaS model business?
A: Sorry for the confusion. Since it's a WordPress plugin, all the future features will come with every update. That is everything that will be added to this plugin, you will get that.
#1. Yes, all the future updates are included. #2. Here's the public roadmap where you can vote for upcoming feature too - https://wpdeveloper.net/go/wpsp-roadmap #3. It's multi-site compatible. #4. Would you kindly clarify your use case? You can use this on your client's site or bundle with your services. But you can't provide your licenses to others. That means you own the license and you can get the support from us.
WaaS is Website as service. Think in a Wix but made with wordpress. This service is a DIY website using the plugins that I buy and activate for the clients. They request some features (provided by the plugins that I install on my multisitte) and then I charge them for using a subsite. Is this allowed?
Ok that's clear and fair. Regards and good luck with your plugin. It's a really good idea. I'm eager to see the new integrations.
BTW Do you have evergreen post feature? That one that automatically repost conten on Social media every X months for making the post get visibility again?
A: What API you are talking about? Even ACF is rather not a concern of this plugin, this post handle post publishing schedule, does not matter what you have inside a post. Look at the roadmap, and explain to us what use case you are thinking, you probably misunderstood the purpose of this plugin. You could install the free version to get a clear idea.
Let me explain. Most of my agency sites create custom post types (using https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/) and custom fields with ACF. If we create a special CPT, let's say "Daily Event" then I would like the user to be able to choose to have that content be posted to FB, Twitter etc.
Your docs state "WP Scheduled Posts allows you to schedule your posts, pages, products or any other custom post types."
My second, and separate question, is do you have a developer API to create scheduled posts via code. Many plugins do these days. Thanks
Hi Sumo-ling, No, not possible that way, this plugin is not made for that. It will handle any post type, inside from WordPress, not in API, you could suggest that in Roadmap, if we see vote and interest, we are open.
Many times, I want to make an old post look like a new post. I show my latest posts on my homepage which is set to sort based on 'Modified Date' in spite of 'Published date' so that if I simply click 'Update' for my old post, it starts displaying under 'Latest Post'
Currently I have to do this manually.
Do you have any such feature in this plugin where I can schedule 're-publish' for my old existing post at regular interval? If not, can you put it under roadmap and release it before the end of AppSumo deal? This is a simple feature but a powerful content hack.
Hi, there. Well, right now, you are not able to schedule republish your posts with WP Scheduled Posts. However, we have already added this in the roadmap which you can check out here: https://trello.com/c/XYnerU87/32-schedule-republish Feel free to upvote and if we get a higher response, we will surely implement this before the deal is expired :D
Thank you. Just upvoted and commented on Trello. However this is an easy feature for the developer. So, you may want to get it done even if you don't get mass upvotes. :(
I am set to buy the plugin if we get a function to republish the old posts after 6 months (Change the date)
And also have a drag-drop function to change the date manually. Like this https://s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/static.appsumo2/media/stories/images/Schedule_Calendar.gif
Q: can this tool help me to plan what stories i want to write, or only plan what stories i have written to post?
if it can help me plan what to write, does it have a way to assign that interview/article to a team member? can it be combined with the wpfront end to accept blog posts submitted and then if approved, they can get into the schedule?
Hi I had to spend 15 min reading every comment and still could not find the question about guest posts. The question above mine has nothing to do with that topic (at least not in my browser!) so how about helping me out and giving me the link?

And has no mention of guest posting.
Q: Why would you schedule posts like this and not just publish as soon as the post is ready?
A: Well, if you run a magazine or blog with multiple authors, you might get lots of content that you want to publish gradually and in a timely manner. This plugin helps you to keep this things organized.
A: It does not matter what tool you use to take input for a post, the main concern will be how you handle the schedule, if the admin-end use Gutenberg its automatically covered, if it uses classic editor we have that covered as well, but if it uses custom post screen, then it up to that plugin to bring schedule support.
