Q: So Many Questions. :-)

1) Is the import process fully working? I have hundreds of paid newsletter subs (saw your Dec 8 reply to LFDLW about “manual migration” — the import feature replaces that process?)

2) To Eric_ (Jan 27), you said, “You can migrate from an existing WooCommerce subscription plugin, but automatic recurring payments will not continue after the migration.” Will existing subscriptions being charged through the official Woo Stripe plugin continue to charge correctly? Paypal Standard?

3) I allow customers to set the price via Name Your Price plugin. Will EXISTING subs continue to work with WPsubscriptions? Will NEW subs accept pricing from “Name Your Price”?

4) You allow Guest Checkout, which I find “odd”. Can it be set to *require* a site account to check out?

THANK you for addressing this pain point for Woo!

A: Hi,
1. We have migration that will migrate WooCommerce subscriptions to WPSubscriptions. But payment gateways must be supported to continue auto-renewals.

2. If the subscriptions are handled on the gateway end, it will continue to charge, which is the case most of the time.

3. No, we don't have or support "Name Your Price".

4. You can disable guest checkout. You can also direct new users to allow WooCommerce to create a new account for them.

Wow: a VERY quick response! Very surprising that the existing Name Your Price plugin wouldn't work. Will you have this option added anytime soon?

"Official" subs allows for not just monthly, but "every X months" for quarterly and semi-annual. Does yours? That would be a game-stopper for me if not.
