Q: Are one-time user membership payments supported -- ie, someone pays once for a set amount of time for a membership.
Or just recurring/subscription user membership payments?
Are multiple concurrent membership levels supported -- ie someone can buy membership A and also buy membership B, then have access to the resources offered in both memberships, at the same time.
Can the same membership level be offered for multiple amounts of time -- ie the user can choose to join the same membership for either 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, or any other duration chosen by the site owner?
Both recurring and non-recurring subscription packages can be created using WPUF.
One user can be subscribed to one subscription package at a time. It will be unavailable for a user to use more than one subscription package at a time.
User needs to choose among the available subscription packages created by admin. The subscription package need to be set by the admin and user is unable to change it in anyway. They have to use the package as admin creates it.
To add on to the first question, if someone signs up for a yearly membership (either recurring or non-recurring), does this have a reminder feature that can send out a renewal email or something like that?
We setup 4 text / image fields in AFC + WPUF 2. Users can fill those fields 3. different users can update the content in the fields, like in Wikipedia 4. Users can thumbs up good info and flag wrong info 5. The system would run almost automatically, so that users update the content
The Pro/Business plan hybrid details should be written in the box above where the pricing is mentioined, so it's legally binding you to stick to the plan you're selling.
Q: I love this but I have a question and would really appreciate it if you could answer it.
It will be unavailable to limit a user from submitting a form only once by default and without a subscription package, it will be unavailable within WPUF.
Thank you, Nayem, for noting these feature requests. Limiting submissions per user, and adding "actions after submit" would make this tool complete for our needs here.
This is a must, we should be have option to moderate posts before publishing.
Q: Hi,
I have few questions :
1) I don't care about the membership, content restriction and event registration ...
features as i have better plugins for that purpose than this one. All i'm interested about is the user submitting feature. Can i disable all the other features except this one and use user submission with my membership, content registration plugins i already own? (that shouldn't be a problem but i prefer to be sure).
2) Can you confirm that i don't need your weforms plugin to use 100% of the features/capacities of user submission of your plugin ? i have a very good form plugin, so i don't want to be forced rely on your forms plugin to use 100% of the features of user submission of wpuserfrontend pro.
3) Is it fully compatible with WPML?
4) Is it fully compatible with elementor/elementor pro?
5) Reading questions in this section, i noticed that some users didn't have any answers to their questions since more than 3 days for some of them, which is quite alarming support wide (i would have think that devs would give their best image here logically), for the future if i buy your plugin and have a problem with it that requires support help. Is there any reasons why some questions here remain unanswered after so many days ?
1. It is not possible to disable any feature but if you do not need others rather than submission then you can avoid creating any subscription or registration form with WP User Frontend. Just create post form for your user.
2. WP user Frontend does not require weForms to the server its own functionality. weForms server different purposes more likely a contact form or event subscription/payment receiving the form. If you need to build contact form too then you can use weForms.
3. It's not compatible with WPML yet.
4. Yes, it is. You can insert Form shortcode with the Elementor shortcode widget :)
5. We are trying to answer as faster we can. Actually we have a forum and live chat to cover. So, sometimes we could not reply faster due to heavy support load. Our team is more focused now and they are trying their best to answer faster on this deal page.
1. What is the benefit having WPUF integrated with WeForm (Appsumo deal) instead of some other Form plugin, for example CF7 or Fluent Forms (LTD as well)? 2. Can we take payments via SMS so that we charge the user in their phone bill and the provider sends us the money? 3. When user submits the post, can we send user email telling that the post is being checked before publishing and then send auto email when we publish the post after checking content? 4. Can we accept any payment method via Woocommerce integration, not just Paypal & Stripe? 5. Is it fully responsive with AFC?
6. Can the user upgrade the post later on with payment and then have custom function set in backend after payment? 7. Can we set default tag badges which users can click to select? 8. Now the tags won't be visually updated when you separate them with comma, will it be fixed? 9. Can the users choose whether they want to display their phone number or not and other privacy options for users? 10. Can users be blocked by country IP, for example to prevent people from certain countries to use the WPUF?
11. Do you integrate with Contac Form 7, Fluent Forms and other form plugins? 12. Can users give thumbs up & down and flag comments? Maybe via AFC? 13. Are you going to have Integromat integration, it's much cheaper than Zapier? 14. The "Tools" and options to delete all kinds of stuff is little bit scary, could they be protected with password if accidentally wrong permissions are given or somehing happens? 15. Can we take automatic backups from all the entries, in case accidental deletation?
16. Can we show the entered data to the form filler after user press "Save & Proceed" button, so that there are two steps The filling step, then the "how will it look in frontend" confirmation page? 17. Is there an option for the users to search for product and then press "Save search & notify me" and then the system will send email when there's a product available in the system submitted by another user? 18. When user uploads image can we use ShortPixel Adaptive Images plugin to scale them automatically? 19. Can we edit the form looks with Yellowpencil or & Microthemer?
Q: Question for Dev Team and anyone else who cares to add to it.
Excuse my ignorance but why would people pay to post?
I would love the option to start a membership site where people pay or subscribe to see my content, does this fulfil that role out of the box?
Are there examples of sites that use WPUF so I can get inspired as to what is possible? The only use case I can think of would be for something like a local ads website. What am I missing here?
Pay per post is for accepting payment for submitting their content.
However, if you want to sell subscription packages you can do so with WPUF. It allows you take payment and you can allow them to visit your forms who are subscribed into the package. WPUF supports content restriction with Subscription packages.
On the other hand, you will be unable to restrict content unless you add any form's shortcode of WPUF. So it can be done if you can build the form wisely.
What do you mean by buildthe forform wisely? Since this is a suggested use case do you supply instructions? Can we ise any form builder to do this? If not what forms are compatible? Also you didn't really answer why anyone would want to pay to post, especially with the new SEO rules or guidelines that will eventually require guest posts to be tagged as rel=usp (user submitted post)
Little bit unclear answers in 20-30% of the questions.
Q: Hi.
After reading all of these questions, and going back over the sales pitch and the video. . . I have to say that I am now more confused than ever about what this actually "does".
Am I correct in thinking that the main idea of this software is to create a form based membership system, where people will have to pay to submit something on a form? And... there's not much else?
In other words, if you're looking for a full-featured membership site to restrict certain pages, or certain videos, or certain features or content (or portions of content), or downloadable material... only to a paid subscriber, this is not the tool to do that. Is that correct?
You can hide the content of the page using WPUF content restriction feature even if there is no WPUF shortcode on that page.
For membership, you can create subscription packages in WPUF, and your post forms and pages can be restricted by using the subscription package and user role.
You can try this in our demo site wpufdemo.wedevs.com/wp-admin username:demo password:demo

WPUF can be integrated with learndash by adding proper custom code.
By default, any integration between these two is unavailable right now and therefore custom code will be required to integrate them together.

What kind of coding is required to have 3rd party plugins to work with WPUF, for example TranslatePress?
Q: Currently, there is no way to limit the number of submissions per user.
I would like each user to be limited to submit 1 post each. Your “subscriptions“ feature does not work well for this use case.
Please consider also adding options for “actions after form submit“, such as, “change user role“, “webhook“, etc.
