Q: I have following questions- 1) I have website hosting plan.
Can it not host videos. What is benefit of hosting on dropbox.
2) I am thinking of starting a website that could show educational videos. But I do not want users to see the video link or copy video link. Can your plugin hide video links? I see it allows embedding. Will the viewers be able to see the video link?
3) What is difference between hosting videos on youtube unlisted and dropbox. Which is better.
4) If I host unlisted youtube video and embed on wordpress page. What other benefit your plugin provide.

WP Video Magic is not a hosting service.
1. It was designed to simplify integration with Amazon S3 hosting, we added DropBox as an extra option as requested by members for cost efficiency, we would still strongly recommend using S3.
2. using S3 allows you to secure your videos from your members.
3. pros and cons for both YT & dropbox, we recommend S3.
4. very little, again we only added the YT functionality because of user requests, we still recommend using Amazon S3.

It is NEVER a good idea to host your videos on the same servers as your website. Videos eat up a ton of storage and bandwidth and doing this WILL hurt the performance of your website, especially if you get popular and get a significant number of views.
3) What is difference between hosting videos on youtube unlisted and dropbox. Which is better.
This depends on your goals and budget to be honest. YouTube is a great way to host your videos for free. BUT it is harder (not impossible) to restrict access to videos using YT. If you do not have a video set as public, then these kinds of products will not be able to display the video. And if you set the video as public, obviously anyone can see it.
With a third party storage like Dropbox, Amazon, etc, you can more easily restrict access as needed.
