wpDataTables is compatible with most WP themes, however, as we cannot guarantee which theme in particular will allow 100% functionality 100% of the time (as themes are updated as well - if we make wpDataTables compatible with one theme, it's developer might update it, and that update may cause conflict with the plugin; something that we cannot influence in advance); so it is ultimately client's choice to try out themes, and see if they are satisfied with both performance of the plugin and theme's aesthetic.

This table is created using the Aqua skin, with some modifications in the main settings. For instance, the surrounding borders are removed, and the table is automatically sorted in ascending fashion by the first column. There is some custom CSS added but no additional plugins were used so you should be able to create a similar table using the plugin's builtin features.
