Very hard to use, Tech support is hard to understand
Avoid if you are not very technical. I am technical and still can't understand how to use this. Also, I see a security vulnerability in Wordfence. So please use caution if you go with this.

Hi there, and thank you for sharing your feedback.
Our support team, along with our plugin and documentation, strives to be as thorough as possible. Over the past decade, we’ve developed a wide range of features and functionalities, ensuring the plugin remains versatile and powerful. Our documentation is designed to cover every detail, and our support team works diligently to address all...
Just used the basic import feature to create a table for client. I was surprised how easy it is. Also there are many options like being able to edit table on frontend by specific user role so now client does not need to call me to update it - they can do it on their own. Have not yet used other features. I find it a bit annoying it has integration with some form builders. I really wish there is integration with bitForms / Piotnet Forms and Flowmattic so I can automate some workflows. Eg, User submits form using bitform or piotnet, data is captured in wpdatatable, then using flowmattic trigger an email , update CRM etc. Some webhook support would be great too.
While the overall setup looks promising, the plugin doesn´t work for me. I can´t just copy paste fields from a table into a new table and make a chart out of it. There is a manual table creation method, that allows for pasting fields when I define the number of columns and rows, but this way, I can´t make a chart out of it.
Also, the upload function didn´t work for me. I guess, the data needs to be prepared in order to be readible by the program.
As a consequence, couldn´t even really start.
I´ll be happy to adjust my review, if there will be updates for correcting this.
A few months ago, I was looking for a method to simplify the process of updating the food menu on a client's website. I tried dozens of scripts and plugins, but WPDataTables was the one that stood out and gave me what I was looking for.
Adding the WPDataTables plugin to the client's website has realized many benefits for both me and my client:
I no longer have to make time to update the food menu prices for the client. The client can now easily add prices to a Google Sheet whenever she likes. The updated prices appear almost instantly on the website. The menu can now be easily downloaded from the website. The client does not have to send the menu to the local print shop anymore. The client is saving money on the cost of printing. The client's customers always have the latest prices when they order food from the website. Using WPDataTables has proven to be a very good choice for both the client and me because the process of updating the website is now semi-automated. I am looking at other ways in which I can make use of Google Sheets and WPDataTables to automate more tasks that are time-consuming and slow for both me and all my clients.
While the actual wpdatatables product itself isn't bad, whether or not it's what you will want is hard to say. If you want advanced filtering, or the master details addon (or indeed any addon) you're going to need a somewhat ludicrous SEVEN codes.
Despite this, I was just about wondering if the deal was worth keeping - but then I found that it doubled the number of requests to pages that had a wpdatatable, so I refunded. Given how important speed is to SEO, and has been for a long time now, absolutely nothing makes it onto our sites that unless it brings clear benefits worth the (speed/financial) costs. This definitely isn't it for us. Refunded, though I would have kept it if addons were included for a more reasonable number of codes.

Feels like an upsell in disguise
