The dictation tool I trusted enough to use for everything

I dictate everything — emails, docs, standup notes, half my messages. So I tried every voice tool on the Mac. They were fast and genuinely good. And every one of them streamed my microphone to someone else's servers.

That was the part I couldn't get past. I was dictating client details, half-formed ideas, things said in meetings — and it was all leaving my machine to be transcribed by a company I'd never met. The ones that ran locally were clunky, or capped me at a word count, or fell apart the moment I said "no wait, I meant…"

So I built the version I actually wanted. WrapScribe transcribes on your Mac with Apple's on-device models, cleans up the fillers and self-corrections with Apple Intelligence, and never uploads a word. No account to start. No monthly meter. It grew from there — meeting notes without a bot in the call, rewrites and translations on any selected text — but the rule never changed: your voice stays on your Mac.
