The only reason to do this deal is for access to CMC academy- previous and future.
The deal description says:
As a special offer for Sumo-lings that give us a whirl and stay with the deal, you’ll get free, exclusive access after your trial to our annual Content Marketing Conference portal. Here you’ll find 200+ recorded sessions, workshops, keynotes, and comedy keynotes from world-class speakers and trainers we’ve featured over the last few years. You’ll also get access to our signature content strategy certification program to help you get a leg up on your competition.
However, in the Q and A today you wrote:
You will have access to the prior year's digital recordings of Content Marketing Conference (CMC). We just held our 2021 conference virtually the last week of April, so many current great sessions available for playback!
This is a bait and switch.
“ you’ll get free, exclusive access after your trial to our annual Content Marketing Conference portal.”
Is not remotely the same as
“ You will have access to the prior year's digital recordings ”
This is not a good start with the AS community. We value trust and transparency. Honoring the deal terms is important. If you wrote that we will have access to the annual content marketing portal- you need to honor that- which means previous conferences as well as ones in the future.
If you do not honor this original statement, then I will not recommend buying this deal because this is false advertising and misleading. We are very smart and buy hundreds of deals a year. Please don’t treat us like fools. Bait and switch will not work with this community.

Content Marketing Conference
For the last 7 years we’ve hosted an annual conference called Content Marketing Conference. Typically this is an in-person event hosted in Boston for about 600 to 1,000 attendees. While this is not our core business, in fact a money looser for us annually, we enjoy the opportunity to help speakers take the stage to share what’s new and what’s next with content marketing, including the tactics, techniques, and tools required for success. It’s a ton of work with the logistics to assembler 50 to 70 speakers each year, not to mention logistics and production, but we enjoy opportunity and challenge to help marketers advance their career and grow their business.Beyond the scene’s, we decided to record ALL the sessions, keynotes, and workshops each year, and make them available to our talent, for free. We also give away some tickets to customers each year, as a reward for their continued business with us. In 2020 CMC made the pivot to a virtual experience, with about 4 weeks notice, and we managed to attract 14,000 attendees that made CMC the largest gathering of content marketers on the planet. In 2021 we went back to a paid virtual experience, charging about $200 for a ticket, and also attached close to 600 attendees.
