First of all, huge appreciation for the amazing product you’ve built! 🎉 Wylo has been a game-changer for my community, and I’ve been loving every bit of it. The seamless engagement, structured discussions, and overall experience make it stand out from other platforms (after having tried almost every platform you can ever think of, or imagine ever existed since the last 10+ years) Kudos to your entire team for creating something truly valuable!

While using Wylo, I’ve noticed a few areas where small improvements can make a massive impact—enhancing both user experience and platform security. These are suggestions based on my experience in the ed-tech and community-building space, and I genuinely believe implementing them will help Wylo stand out even further and drive long-term adoption.

I’ve categorized the suggestions based on priority and effort:

🚀 1️⃣ Quick Fixes & Easy Wins (High ROI, Low Effort)

🔹 Remove the “Download Video” Button & Implement DRM Protection
Issue: Currently, users can download videos, leading to piracy & content theft.
Solution: Remove the download button and implement fragmented video streaming (like Microsoft’s DRM system), where a large video file is broken into multiple smaller parts, making it difficult to download and compile.

🔹 Enable Course-Specific Discussions Below Videos
Issue: Currently, there’s no way for learners to discuss content while watching a course.
Solution: Add a discussion section under each course video for real-time note-sharing, Q&A, and engagement. This will enhance the learning experience & keep users active.

🔹 Coupon Codes with Flat/Percentage Discounts + Tracking
Issue: There’s no tracking mechanism for promotions or referral-based conversions.
Solution: Enable coupon-based tracking so we can measure which campaigns & referral sources drive the most conversions.

🔹 Dedicated Checkout Page for Memberships, Courses & Events
Issue: Users must sign up first before making a payment, leading to high drop-off rates.
Solution: Allow public checkout so users can pay first, then auto-register based on payment details. (Competitors like TagMango already do this.)

📈 2️⃣ Strategic Upgrades (Bigger Features, High Impact)

🔹 Drip Course Unlocking (Challenge-Based Learning)
Issue: All course content is unlocked at once, leading to binge-watching & lower retention.
Solution: Introduce progressive unlocking where new modules unlock:

After a set duration (e.g., 1 new lesson per week).
After completing specific actions or previous modules.

🔹 One-on-One Booking System with Tag-Based Coaches
Issue: Users can only attend group events, but some prefer direct 1:1 coaching.
Solution: Enable coach tagging where users can book calls with specific experts.

Integrate Google Calendar, Zoom, MS Teams for seamless scheduling.
Allow multiple coach types (relationship experts, mindset coaches, business strategists, etc..)

🔹 WhatsApp Push Notifications for Events & Updates
Issue: Email reminders get ignored, but WhatsApp has a 90%+ open rate.
Solution: Integrate WhatsApp push notifications for:

Event reminders.
Course unlock alerts.
Community announcements.

🛠 3️⃣ UX Fixes & Customization Requests (Urgent Bug Fixes)

🔹 Customizable Left-Pane Menu & Reordering UI Elements
Issue: Currently, all community sections have a fixed position in the menu, even if some aren’t relevant.
Solution: Allow admins to:

Reorder & hide sections based on their community’s needs.
Prioritize what members see first (e.g., chat, discussions, or courses).

🔹 Pinning Messages in Community Threads
Issue: Important posts get buried in discussions.
Solution: Enable thread pinning so that key messages stay at the top for visibility.

🔹 Fix Z-Index Issue in Threads Dashboard
Issue: When opening dropdown menus in the left/top pane, they get hidden behind threads due to incorrect Z-Index layering.
Solution: Adjust Z-Index layering in the front-end UI to ensure dropdowns are always visible.

🔹 Enable Reordering of Courses, Products & Collections
Issue: Right now, there’s no way to manually rearrange the order of courses, products, and collections.
Solution: Give admins the ability to drag & drop courses/products into the desired order for a better user experience.
