Q: About a folio

Hello, I'm not sure I understand exactly what a folio is. In tier 2, it says 100 folios; does this mean that once I have created 100 documents (in a month, a year, or a couple of years), I'm pretty much done? In other words, this plan, more of a LTD, is a "Quantity Time Deal"; once I reach 100 documents, is my plan complete? Or can you explain to me how I can use the folios in case I'm missing something? Please help me understand how folios work, perhaps using some examples. The product looks good, but I'm missing this part.

A: Let me help clarify what a folio is and how it works in Xtensio.

A folio is essentially an individual document or project you create in Xtensio. It could be a proposal, presentation, landing page, client report, or any other type of document. The number of folios in your plan (e.g., 100 in Tier 2) represents the total number of active documents you can have at any given time.

Here’s how it works:
• If you’re on Tier 2 with 100 folios, you can have up to 100 active folios in your workspace.
• Active Folios: These are folios you’re currently working on or sharing. If you no longer need a folio, you can delete or archive it, which frees up a slot for a new folio.
• No Time Limit: There’s no monthly or yearly restriction—your folio slots are tied to your overall plan, and you can manage them as you go.

Example Use Case:

• Let’s say you’re creating proposals for 10 clients. Each proposal is a folio. If you create and complete all 10, you can either keep them active for future reference or delete/archive them and reuse those slots for new proposals.

The plan isn’t “used up” once you hit 100 folios. Instead, you have 100 active folio slots that you can manage over time to create, delete, and replace documents as needed.

If you’re still unsure about folios or have a specific use case, let me know—I’d be happy to provide more examples and guidance.
