Q: Custom domain/subdomain applies to documents but not to workspaces

Our non-profit organization recently purchased the Tier 4 license, drawn by the promise of its custom domain/subdomain feature. While this works beautifully for documents, we were surprised to find that workspaces still use the Xtensio subdomain in their URLs:
myname.xtensio.com/folder/(workspacename)
Extending the custom domain feature to workspaces would greatly enhance the white-labeling experience for organizations like ours, particularly those aiming to provide a seamless, branded interface for team members and collaborators.
Would Xtensio consider adding this functionality to its Roadmap?

Dec 19, 2024A: Thank you for your feedback and for being a Tier 4 user! You’re right—custom domains currently apply only to published folios, while workspace URLs remain under the Xtensio subdomain. Extending this to workspaces is a feature we’ve heard requests for before, and we’re exploring ways to make this possible in the future.
That said, implementing this poses technical challenges due to the complexity of Xtensio’s functionalities. We truly appreciate your input and will keep this on our radar as we evolve the platform.
