Q: Interesting, Traditional but Intuitive?
Xtensio reminds me of Storydoc - which is a gem LTD and I love so much. I'm an educator and entrepreneur, I create teaching decks and also business presentation decks. A few curious questions in good spirit please.
1. Xtensio looks more traditional-but-intuitive than High-Tech-AI-Everywhere. Is this your strategy going forward or you're trying to pivot to AI or something else?
2. You have no ppt export, which is a surprise (I hate ppt). I'm just curious how did you become profitable with thousands users without offering vital ppt export feature which everyone uses? What's that "MAGIC" that keeps people in Xtensio without ppt export?
3. What super feature that can help me speed up deck creation and create a wow effect? Example, I love Gamma where AI automates many aspects. Storydoc for it's cool intuitive slides designs and transitions.

Nov 5, 2024A: Hi Jeremy!
Thanks for the thoughtful questions! I’m happy to walk you through our approach and unique features.
“Traditional but Intuitive” by Design: You nailed it! Xtensio focuses on a flexible, intuitive editor that keeps you in control. While we’re exploring AI tools, our strategy centers on empowering users to create high-quality, branded content easily—especially for collaborative work. Above all, we value human creativity and aim to enhance it with tools that feel natural and intuitive, rather than being heavily AI-driven.
Why No PPT Export—Yet: While we don’t currently offer PPT export, it’s planned for the first quarter of 2025. In the meantime, our users love Xtensio’s “living documents,” which update in real-time, can be shared via links, embedded on websites, or exported as PDFs. This approach makes collaboration seamless, without needing static files or re-sending after edits. This flexibility has been a big draw for users who appreciate a polished, interactive look.
Creating Decks Quickly with a Wow Factor: Xtensio’s modular editor helps you create visually engaging, on-brand decks with ease. You can drag and drop modules, access free stock images and icons, and customize each folio to match your brand’s guidelines. The Brand Style Guide feature keeps your fonts, colors, and logos consistent across all client projects. Plus, with engagement analytics, you can track how clients interact with your shared content, making it easier to refine and optimize presentations.
If you’d like more details on any of this, just let me know—I’d love to help you make Xtensio work for both your teaching and business presentations!
