A complete GAME-CHANGER!
This is one of the best apps I've ever purchased from AppSumo - and I've bought a LOT! It is genuinely a game-changer for me and something that I think I'll be using routinely on a daily basis. Not only does it provide me with templates that I knew I needed, but browsing through what's on offer made me think of other things that had not occurred to me but which are a fantastic idea. Response times when I have had questions have been brilliant, I really love this product and the business and I hope it becomes a 'house-hold' name (or whatever the business equivalent is)!

Xtensio Review: A Useful Tool for Creating and Delivering Digital Documents
Xtensio is a solid option for creating professional-looking documents without needing design experience. It works well for business owners, consultants, and content creators who need structured, customizable templates for reports, proposals, and other business materials.
How I Used Xtensio
I needed a way to package and deliver digital downloads to clients in a way that looked clean and professional. I wanted something more polished than a basic Google Doc but not so complicated that I’d spend hours formatting. Xtensio’s pre-designed templates made the process simple—I could drop in content, customize it, and export a PDF with embedded links and visuals. It saved time while making my materials look more put together.
What Works Well
* Good selection of templates – Well-structured and easy to customize.
* Simple interface – Editing is straightforward, even without design experience.
* Quick and responsive support – The help team went beyond basic troubleshooting and actually provided useful solutions.
* Live link sharing – Documents can be shared as a live link, which is helpful for updates.
Overall
Xtensio is useful for structured business documents and works well for delivering digital materials in a professional format. It’s not a full design tool, but it fills the gap between basic word processors and complex design software. If you need a quick, polished way to package content, it does the job.
Highly recommend!

Good start
This is simple and easy to use. Perhaps too basic when compared to visme or other living boards. Ideally I'd like to be able to have greater control over files added and more designs. Rounded and block patterns with an ai element in the future would be great. I wonder what's in store..

I see the potential
This is one of those purchases you make for the platform's potential and the pleasure of seeing it evolve into something extraordinary. Right now, the platform is basic and probably better suited for beginners. What I like about Xtensio:
I like the intuitive drag-and-drop interface, which makes creating professional-looking documents relatively easy, even for users without design experience.
It offers a good selection of templates for various business documents like proposals, reports, case studies, agendas, etc. that can be customized to fit your brand and specific needs.
It is interactive and good for collaboration. You can embed images, videos, and interactive elements like tables and charts to make your documents more engaging and informative.
The documents are "living" documents that can be updated and revised easily, a significant advantage over static PDFs or Word documents.
You can share documents via a unique link, present them live, and even track engagement metrics.
Documents created in Xtensio are responsive and adapt to different screen sizes (desktops, tablets, and smartphones).
With some improvements, Xtensio could solidify its position as a leading platform for creating and collaborating on business documents, attracting a wider user base, and providing greater customer value. These are my suggestions:
1. Enhanced Offline Capabilities:
Allowing users to edit documents offline and then sync changes when reconnecting would be a major improvement and would particularly benefit users like me who travel frequently or have unreliable internet access.
Improving the offline viewing experience beyond just exporting as a PDF.
2. More Granular Collaboration Features:
Offer more granular control over user permissions within a document. For instance, the ability to assign different editing or commenting rights to specific sections of a document.
A more detailed and user-friendly version history that allows users to revert to earlier versions or easily compare different versions side-by-side.
Integration of task assignment and project management features within the platform.
3. Integrations and Automation:
Expanding integrations with other popular business tools, such as CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot), project management tools (Asana, Trello), communication platforms (Slack, Microsoft Teams), and more.
Providing a robust API to enable developers to build custom integrations and automate workflows.
4. Content and Design Enhancements:
Continuously adding to the template library, focusing on industry-specific templates and more diverse design styles.
Offering more advanced design options, such as custom font support, more control over layout and spacing, and the ability to create more complex animations.
Integrating AI-powered features to suggest relevant content, improve writing quality, and optimize for readability.
Built-in image editor so that uploaded images can be cropped and edited without leaving the application.
5. Enhanced Analytics:
Providing more detailed analytics on document engagement, such as time spent on each page, click-through rates on interactive elements, and viewer demographics.
Allowing users to integrate their Xtensio documents with Google Analytics for even more comprehensive tracking.
6. Improved Accessibility:
Ensuring full compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) to make the platform usable for people with disabilities.

Jan 19, 2025This is one of the most thoughtful and insightful reviews we’ve received—thank you so much for taking the time to share it! It’s incredibly rewarding to hear what’s working for you and to dive into your detailed suggestions. Let me address each of your points:
Enhanced Offline Capabilities:
We completely agree—offline editing and improved offline viewing would be a game-changer, especially for users who travel frequently or have unreliable internet. We’ve been discussing this internally, and we’re keen to explore it further in the future.
More Granular Collaboration Features:
Your suggestions for better permissions, detailed version histories, and even task management are excellent. Collaboration is a core part of Xtensio, and we’re always looking for ways to make it more flexible and efficient for teams. These ideas align closely with our ongoing improvements.
Integrations and Automation:
Expanding integrations with CRMs, project management tools, and communication platforms is definitely on our roadmap. Within the last month alone, we’ve expanded support to embed content from over 200 platforms into Xtensio, making your documents even more dynamic and interactive. Next, we’re planning to work on making Xtensio itself available on third-party platforms, like the ones you mentioned, to streamline workflows further.
Content and Design Enhancements:
You can already upload your own fonts on Xtensio, giving you even more control over branding. If you haven’t tried this yet, let us know, and we’d be happy to guide you. We’re also continually adding new templates and improving design flexibility. Suggestions like animations, custom layout control, and a built-in image editor are fantastic, and we’ll definitely take them into consideration for future updates.
Enhanced Analytics:
Xtensio’s engagement analytics are already among the best in the business. You can see not only viewer counts but also location, device used, clicks/click rate, and even how much time viewers spend on each section of your document. If you haven’t had a chance to explore this yet, we’d be happy to walk you through it! That said, we’re always looking to improve and would love to make the analytics even more comprehensive and informative based on user feedback.
Improved Accessibility:
Accessibility is a priority for us, and we’re committed to ensuring Xtensio is inclusive and compliant with accessibility standards like WCAG. Your input reinforces how important this is, and we appreciate you highlighting it.
Your feedback aligns closely with many of the areas we’re already working on, and suggestions like logic-based interactivity and enhanced collaboration tools are inspiring for what’s next. If you’d be open to it, we’d love to jump on a quick call to discuss your ideas further. You can reach out to us directly through the app, and we’d be happy to connect!
Thanks again for your thoughtful review—it truly means a lot to us.

Updates needed but good start
I was just working on our company profile when I noticed Xtensio. I'm now on tier 3 and not sure whether it's a deal for me or not.
What I like is the interactive way my presentations can be shared with our partners. It also seems pretty straight forward to create a quick presentation for sharing.
What would make this tool a powerhouse for me...
1. More design option. My designs so far use rounded corners, but that doesn't seem to be available in Xtensio.
2. I do not see any way for my viewers to download the presentation for their own use. Of course I can create a download link at the end myself.
3. I'm not sure if the developers have thought of this but there's a huge opportunity for this in combination with APIs. Having the presentation served with interactive data would make this tool incredibly powerful.
4. If the presentations had some form of logic in them it would be even better. Meaning, if my audience gets a question about they use our product, then based on that they would get to see a different part of the presentation. Combined with automations this would allow me to show the same presentation to different groups and serve them exactly what they need.
Unfortunately, design wise I can do more in Canva so there's still a lot of room for growth.

Jan 16, 2025Thank you for your detailed feedback—it’s incredibly helpful! I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the interactive sharing and ease of creating presentations with Xtensio.
Here’s where we stand on your suggestions:
Design Options: We hear you on rounded corners and more design flexibility. Expanding these features is on our radar, and it’s great to know this would enhance your experience.
Downloadable Presentations for Viewers: We’re actively working on making presentations downloadable for viewers to simplify sharing and access.
API Integration: You’re absolutely right—there’s massive potential here, and we’re exploring ways to leverage APIs to make our platform more powerful.
Interactive and Smarter Folios: While adding logic and automation is more complex, we’re excited about the idea of smarter, more interactive folios. It’s something we’re actively exploring.
Xtensio is focused on creating living documents and presentations—tools that are responsive, dynamic, and collaborative. From advanced collaboration features to analytics, we’re building a platform to help you craft truly engaging experiences for your audience.
Thank you again for your thoughtful review. Your insights help us grow, and we can’t wait to share more updates with you soon!
