I see the potential

This is one of those purchases you make for the platform's potential and the pleasure of seeing it evolve into something extraordinary. Right now, the platform is basic and probably better suited for beginners. What I like about Xtensio:

I like the intuitive drag-and-drop interface, which makes creating professional-looking documents relatively easy, even for users without design experience.

It offers a good selection of templates for various business documents like proposals, reports, case studies, agendas, etc. that can be customized to fit your brand and specific needs.

It is interactive and good for collaboration. You can embed images, videos, and interactive elements like tables and charts to make your documents more engaging and informative.

The documents are "living" documents that can be updated and revised easily, a significant advantage over static PDFs or Word documents.

You can share documents via a unique link, present them live, and even track engagement metrics.

Documents created in Xtensio are responsive and adapt to different screen sizes (desktops, tablets, and smartphones).

With some improvements, Xtensio could solidify its position as a leading platform for creating and collaborating on business documents, attracting a wider user base, and providing greater customer value. These are my suggestions:

1. Enhanced Offline Capabilities:

Allowing users to edit documents offline and then sync changes when reconnecting would be a major improvement and would particularly benefit users like me who travel frequently or have unreliable internet access.

Improving the offline viewing experience beyond just exporting as a PDF.

2. More Granular Collaboration Features:

Offer more granular control over user permissions within a document. For instance, the ability to assign different editing or commenting rights to specific sections of a document.

A more detailed and user-friendly version history that allows users to revert to earlier versions or easily compare different versions side-by-side.

Integration of task assignment and project management features within the platform.

3. Integrations and Automation:

Expanding integrations with other popular business tools, such as CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot), project management tools (Asana, Trello), communication platforms (Slack, Microsoft Teams), and more.

Providing a robust API to enable developers to build custom integrations and automate workflows.

4. Content and Design Enhancements:

Continuously adding to the template library, focusing on industry-specific templates and more diverse design styles.

Offering more advanced design options, such as custom font support, more control over layout and spacing, and the ability to create more complex animations.

Integrating AI-powered features to suggest relevant content, improve writing quality, and optimize for readability.

Built-in image editor so that uploaded images can be cropped and edited without leaving the application.

5. Enhanced Analytics:

Providing more detailed analytics on document engagement, such as time spent on each page, click-through rates on interactive elements, and viewer demographics.

Allowing users to integrate their Xtensio documents with Google Analytics for even more comprehensive tracking.

6. Improved Accessibility:

Ensuring full compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) to make the platform usable for people with disabilities.

This is one of the most thoughtful and insightful reviews we’ve received—thank you so much for taking the time to share it! It’s incredibly rewarding to hear what’s working for you and to dive into your detailed suggestions. Let me address each of your points:

Enhanced Offline Capabilities:
We completely agree—offline editing and improved offline viewing would be a game-changer, especially for users who travel frequently or have unreliable internet. We’ve been discussing this internally, and we’re keen to explore it further in the future.

More Granular Collaboration Features:
Your suggestions for better permissions, detailed version histories, and even task management are excellent. Collaboration is a core part of Xtensio, and we’re always looking for ways to make it more flexible and efficient for teams. These ideas align closely with our ongoing improvements.

Integrations and Automation:
Expanding integrations with CRMs, project management tools, and communication platforms is definitely on our roadmap. Within the last month alone, we’ve expanded support to embed content from over 200 platforms into Xtensio, making your documents even more dynamic and interactive. Next, we’re planning to work on making Xtensio itself available on third-party platforms, like the ones you mentioned, to streamline workflows further.

Content and Design Enhancements:
You can already upload your own fonts on Xtensio, giving you even more control over branding. If you haven’t tried this yet, let us know, and we’d be happy to guide you. We’re also continually adding new templates and improving design flexibility. Suggestions like animations, custom layout control, and a built-in image editor are fantastic, and we’ll definitely take them into consideration for future updates.

Enhanced Analytics:
Xtensio’s engagement analytics are already among the best in the business. You can see not only viewer counts but also location, device used, clicks/click rate, and even how much time viewers spend on each section of your document. If you haven’t had a chance to explore this yet, we’d be happy to walk you through it! That said, we’re always looking to improve and would love to make the analytics even more comprehensive and informative based on user feedback.

Improved Accessibility:
Accessibility is a priority for us, and we’re committed to ensuring Xtensio is inclusive and compliant with accessibility standards like WCAG. Your input reinforces how important this is, and we appreciate you highlighting it.

Your feedback aligns closely with many of the areas we’re already working on, and suggestions like logic-based interactivity and enhanced collaboration tools are inspiring for what’s next. If you’d be open to it, we’d love to jump on a quick call to discuss your ideas further. You can reach out to us directly through the app, and we’d be happy to connect!

Thanks again for your thoughtful review—it truly means a lot to us.
