handsomeboyQ: Are there any plans to expand Yapper’s features soon?
Right now it still feels too basic and hasn’t shown much progress. It would be great if Yapper focused on becoming a full viral video creation platform, not just a simple generator. Adding tools like auto-storyboard, element-to-video, AI video templates (ready-made styles/effects/dance), and an AI agent to help automate video creation workflows would make a huge difference. The idea is strong, but it really needs faster development and a clearer direction to stay ahead.

Nov 11, 2025A: Hi! We've been hard at work adding features, tutorials, and examples since our App Sumo launch.
To say we haven't shown progress is about as far from the truth as some of our deepfake videos! We hear you and will keep our pace of improvement high! We're really exciting about the ideas you mentioned (auto-storyboard, more powerful templates, an agent to automate video creation) and development is underway.
The proof is in the pudding as they say. There are several features we've adding since launching one week ago on app sumo because users asked for them:
- Multi-lingual voice cloning: select from 10+ languages when making a custom voice
- Emotion-control: add emotions to your scripts for even more lifelike lipsync deepfake videos
- Published a handful of highly-requested tutorial videos to ensure AppSumo users understand how to get the best results out of Yapper before spending credits
Not to mention the dozens of feature requests and bug fixes the community has helped us with.
