⭐⭐⭐ for Now (Initial Feedback)
Straight to the point.
This is one of the best tools of its kind that we’ve seen on AppSumo.
We’ve only been using it for a few days, but so far it looks promising.
Like most new tools, there’s still room for improvement and that's just a matter of fact and not a negative view of Yapper in any way.
Many of the challenges have already been mentioned in other reviews, so we won’t repeat them here.
We’ve used similar tools for years, so we can tell right away when something is good or just hype. This one is definitely in the "good quality" camp.
One of the big problems though is the lack of detailed tutorial videos.
We have to keep searching online for how-to videos made by other users or marketers just to learn some basic but important things, and that’s frustrating and wastes time.
There are FAQs under the support section, and you can email support, so it’s not like there’s no help at all. But what’s missing are clear video walkthroughs that show how to use each feature properly.
These would help people avoid wasting credits by making avoidable mistakes. We’ve already burned through a lot of credits just trying to figure things out, but the final outputs were good.
The short 8-second video feature is another issue.
We lost a lot of credits because the start or end of the audio kept getting cut off. And we weren’t using lip sync, just trying to make simple short 8 second videos.
If you spend enough time experimenting, you probably can get most features to work for what you want to do, but honestly, no one wants to spend all that time testing things just to get results ... and did I say "burn through your credits."
That said, it’s still a solid tool overall.
We’re giving it 3 out of 5 stars for now because it’s early days and has potential. If they add proper instructional tutorial videos or we find better ways to use it without wasting credits, we’ll update our rating to 5 stars.
We bought Tier 2.

Nov 5, 2025Hi there, I appreciate your honest review! Thank you for being an early user!
I hear you on your request for more tutorial videos. That's something we'll be sure to add so that users get the most out of the platform from the very start. I'd recommend watching the AppSumo demo video linked on this product page if you want an initial video tutorial.
As for your comment about 8-second videos, you can make videos up to 25 seconds if you change the model to Sora 2. When you select a specific video model, we display what time options are available. The Timeline Editor is also available to extend clips to whatever length you'd like (useful if you're making a 45 second piece of content for instance).
I hope you're experience gets better as you become more familiar with the platform & we push new updates.
