Just brainstorming a use case. What if I uploaded an old book from the 2000s. Will it thoroughly rewrite (make it original) the book and add updated graphics along with updated sources or would I need to feed it updated sources to use as citations and references?
Speaking of citations and references, will it auto add those?
I agree with a review, it would be great if it could also do fiction (romance, sci-fi, etc).

Nov 17, 2025A: Hi, no, not currently. We do plan to add an agentic editor that allows editing youbooks projects in 2026. however, this would not allow importing and editing any file.
Youbooks does not read or create graphics, it is text-only.
It also does nto add in-line citations due to the large number of sources (hundreds) and brokn non-ficiton formatting this would result to. We will add an option to export all the URLs scraped though, per seciton (separate file).
Ficiton is still out of sight - as we don't have the resources to complete in two playing fields and need to focs on one and try to own it.
