Easy to use, got room for improvement
Our use case for this product is to collect testimonials from in-person events, to get more people to future events.
YourCharlie is making it easier for us to solicit feedback from guests.
PROS
Easy to import customers by CSV file or manual input.
Very simple to set up the questions. Tip: Shorter questions are better.
Easy to add a introduction video of yourself, asking for a testimonial. Tip: Make your own video very simple, to entice your customers to record their own videos.
YourCharlie has a photo/video release statement, that your customers will have to accept to give a testimonial.
The output from YourCharlie is usable straight from the start. And you can download the source video files as well.
CONS
The platform is a bit unpolished.
No easy way to batch change country code for the phones to the US.
No way to tag more than one contact at a time.
WISHLIST
Translate entire platform to English. There are portions of the onboarding that are in French.
Make it easier to bulk tag people, and change tags.
Make it possible to bulk change country code for phone numbers.
Make it possible to sort the contacts or hide contacts that have left video testimonials. Make it possible to sort on tags.
It's clear that this is a small team that takes this product seriously. However, that does mean that if you have an issue or a question, helpdesk might take a long time (more than a week) to get back to you if you.
All in all - I look forward to using YourCharlie to get more customers to our events.
