Q: How does this adhere to intellectual property legal rules?
For example, the thumbnail is created by the youtube creator (as wel as screenshots from the video itself) and thus the copyright resides with him?
In other words; is this safe to use legally?
(Or do you perhaps need to use other steps to ensure that?)

May 15, 2024A: Generally, you are allowed to embed a YouTube video on your website as long as you follow the terms of service set by YouTube.
However, we are a software company and are not entitled to give any legal advise. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that no copyright infringement occurred.
