Works like a charm!
I wanted a page to showcase our videos & this plug-in works great. I don't use any kind of page-builder, but I do use the Mesmerize theme. I was a little worried when I saw "Elementor" all over the directions, but I followed the directions & boom, I have a grid of the videos.
Can't wait to try it with other projects that I'm working on, including a live-stream podcast.
Also have to say, I wrote them a question & they were super quick with their response. Thank you so much for your great support & the perfect plugin that does exactly what I wanted.

You are right -- YT2Posts doesn't require Elementor at all, and is compatible with most of themes and page builder. This still seems unclear to some of our users. We will try to clarify this better in our documentation.

Does exactly what I needed
YT2posts does exactly what it advertises and is simple to use. It isn't fancy but integrates well into page builders which allows you to customize the look and layout further.
Aside from the actual product, I have experienced fantastic customer service and technical support from their team. I had a small technical glitch and they fixed it up very quickly for me.
Fantastic so far and recommend it for anyone looking to simply pull their YouTube videos onto their Wordpress site.

Does what its suppose to do but very limiter if you are not using Elementor Pro
I have been using this tool since April. Its main function is to move YouTube videos over to a WordPress blog and insert them into a post, which works flawlessly. However, you are unable to set a new template for video layouts without an Elementor Pro plan. There is a tutorial that outlines how to do it, but it doesn't specify "only with Elementor Pro."
You can't use Elementor to edit your posts when editing the video pages, either.
I figured I would see what would happen with the updates, but nothing has happened.
I also purchased this to utilize the AI features for summary and transcription. I saw a review where the founder commented that AI features would be added to Appsumo users, but three months later, I haven't been given access to them. Of course, I am past the refund period. I am hoping some big updates are coming soon.

Regarding the templates: it's possible to create custom templates for videos also with other page builders (e.g. DIVI) and advanced themes like GeneratePress. In our tutorials, we described how to do it with Elementor, but YT2Posts is still compatible with other page builders and other themes. In Elementor, everything that has to do with dynamic data requires Elementor...

Technology is like a joke.
As advertised, it converts the YT post to the article, and takes the original description of the post below, rather than converting the verbal content in the post into text.
Their advertising is not wrong, it's just that the app doesn't have any special effects. After installing and waiting for the results, I was shocked to see the article converted, and hastily refunded.
There are quite a few apps that advertise converting from yt to posts on appsumo, but most of them focus on rewriting the content (Blogify), must have subtitles inside (YouPost), or leaving the description intact (YT2Posts). Only Happy Scribe actually converts speech into words (really subtitles), but does not connect to a blog.
