It's getting there

I moved my stuff from MailerLite to Zagomail and it's a little clunky but in the way new services typically are so it's not enough to be a turn-off

Pros:
- Excellent service team that is super-responsive and helpful
- Easy to set up
- Pretty customizable in terms of how you can segment email subscribers (lists, tags, or segments; whichever works best for your business)

Cons:
- Its UI is a little clunky with automation. Maybe I'm just used to MailerLite and ConvertKit but it's cumbersome to leave automation in order to create new tags or emails.

- "Sequences" is a bit of a misnomer. To me, a sequence is a chain of emails/events/etc. In their UI it's the place where each individual email is created and stored. I'd much prefer having a chain together since my automations have a LOT of different emails.

- The automations are a little...well, again, clunky. Updating/editing things works sometimes (as someone else commented in the questions area here) and it's difficult to do much in the way of content creation in the automation section. It seems to instead work that you build everything first and link it together in automation. That may work for users that don't have a lot in the way of separate emails but it's hard to keep everything organized and can get in the way of your process if you have to exit automation because you forgot something or thought of something new (i.e. "oh I should create a tag for this part!" means leaving automation and going to lists to create a new tag)

- Slightly nitpicky but getting to "Tags" is a few more steps than necessary. I'd rather it be on the side menu than having to go into lists and then find tags. For someone who needs to keep track of user behavior and has done so via tags, this is cumbersome.

- To me, the sequence stats aren't useful and take up a lot of space in the UI. Again, "sequence" for Zagomail is each individual pre-created email that's created for an automation. My onboarding sequences typically have 5 or so emails and I have multiple brands. Currently, I can see the titles of two of my emails that are created; the rest are rectangles holding stats. In an automation it's more important to me to see the flow of how a chain of emails is working so these individual stats aren't helpful and just take up a LOT of whitespace.

Not a pro or con but just FYI, their free import service is JUST email addresses and not the separate lists or automations. I didn't realize this and had to spend more time than anticipated recreating my lists and then re-importing my contacts. Again, not a huge deal just wish that had been better explained.

All in all, I'm giving them a shot because I see the potential and hope they'll really take to heart the feature requests their users are submitting.
