Zapof Forms Reviews

I bet you don't know how much of a diamond in the rough this is. Initially put off by the pastel yellow and blue colour scheme, I was reminded of a Windows 3.1.1 interface (don't worry, you can change this), but the powerful functionality under the hood is both more powerful and reliable than Formidable Forms which charges a minimum of $80 a year.

These forms /calculators /spreadsheets can be embedded in your site, collect digital signatures and print PDF by default. They can collect payments too. All on top of having Excel type formulas on fields and conditional formatting. Plus it has near 400 templates to choose from or edit.
This is someone's labor of love and it quietly knocks the socks off of the competition that may not even know it exists.

I haven't ever really regretted buying this. I love that I can embed the forms on my website so my clients don't have to leave the site to fill them out.

I love that I can have the submit button linked to the next form my clients need to be complete.

I love that I can grab signatures.

I really love that I've been able to leave google forms behind.

I really resonate with EvilT's review. I was really surprised that basic functions like downloading results or pushing to google sheets are not included without extra payments. So the first time I bough this deal I was frustrated enough that I returned it almost right away. It felt like a bait and switch and I really didn't like that.

But, I came back to it. Zapof is a powerful tool. The save and resume functionality combined with the option for .pdf download for individual form fillers, along with a relatively powerful calculation within the tables, lookups within the forms, and show if capability, were too good to miss out on. It's not exactly easy to work with especially when making lots of changes to existing cells, but it works really well and I've already integrated it into one of my workflows and am appreciating the results.

Like EvilT said, I want to be able to stack codes to get functionality like download, and google sheets, and CNAME. In terms of upgrades, I did like the concept of being able to select from a menu of subscription add-ons or choose from a subscription level. But the reality is that it's hard to imagine myself paying for the monthly subscription for those features - if that's the situation, I'll just use other form builders to avoid that and limit my use of this one working in the areas that it uniquely excels in. But if I could stack codes for some of those upgrades and more forms, I'd definitely be interested.

I can mirror the overall very positive feedback of this form builder, it has a learning curve when it comes to build sth complex (like a quoting form with configurable products), but compared to other solutions it has the capabilities to do so, very impressive! 5 Tacos for that.

4 Tacos at this stage about the deal:
I seriously miss custom CNAME and the Export to Excel feature, stuff like this should be part of an AppSumo deal. You want to grow ambassadors for your tool, so cutting out these essentials is not a good thing to do.
I have no issue with a subscription on the extensive stuff like integrated payments etc, or if you made this stackable to provide the higher tiers as LTD of course, but the 2 Essentials above I'd ask you to seriously consider to make part of the AppSumo Deal.
That would be 5+ Tacos then ;)

I have used many form builders, but none with so many rich features and flexibility as this one. The price for the LTD is also a steal. I particularly like the calculation/formula feature which can perform complex pricing calculations and conditional formatting. This form builder can handle simple and complex forms with ease and the support from the developer is lightning fast and efficient.
