Zemith Joins My Army of AI LTDsāBecause It's That Good š
6 All-In-One (AIO) and 24 other AI app LTDs later, I'm finally starting to get a bit picky when choosing...
But Zemith definitely makes the cut as my 7th AIO.
As someone else mentioned, Zemith is still a young product, but it nails the basics of an AIO AI platform really well, particularly on the AI chat front, and is developing fast.
The UI is simple, fast, and neat, and you can access a handful of leading LLMs.
If we refer to other AIO AI platforms, some of the major text models we might wish to see included in Zemith are Amazon's Nova models, Mistral's Large, Meta's Llama models, and xAI's Grok models. Perplexity's Sonar may not be necessary with Zemith's search functionality.
Zemith's team moves fast, so perhaps they could pretty quickly add any of the above models along the way.
And did I mention the team moves fast?
Right now, it's kind of interesting to refresh their roadmap and changelog pages daily because there seems to be something new happening every 1-2 days. š
For a similar reason, it's enjoyable contacting them with bug reports and feature suggestions and then seeing the approved changes being applied to the platform in some cases under an hour later.
Does Kevin and his team sleep? Maybe not, who knows.
If you didn't get Straico or Merlin and have no other AIO AI app, I think Zemith is a decent place to start as long as your primary use case is NOT AI video generation (at least for now). You may also find value in the Notes feature and various other specialized tools the app offers.
I have many AI apps, and despite any overlap, I find Zemith to be quite great in its own way and improving quickly.
I enjoy their approach to a simple UI. Of course, certain areas of usability can be improved.
For instance, the amount of clicks it takes to fetch and insert a saved prompt into your chat. It seems to require at least 6 clicks via the chat settings panel or, if you go the hard way, 5-6 clicks across 3-4 page loads to grab a prompt from the Prompt Gallery page and return to your chat to use it.
------------
In any case, I've got my eyes on Zemith's search feature. If I'm lucky, it might let me cancel my Perplexity subscription one day...š
Promising platform. Looking forward to the mobile apps; great work!
