I used to use Elementor, but the cord problem and weight bothered me, so I was looking for an alternative.
To be honest, I found Zion Builder not as intuitive as Elementor. Elements are not drag-and-drop. There are a lot of settings, and it can be a bit confusing at first.
However, you can change a lot of details with no code, and the design is consistent.
You can also overwrite most of the aspects that depend on the theme, which was the biggest problem with Wordpress, so you can do the same thing with headers and footers as if you were creating a new theme without cording.
I've tried other similar builders, but I think this one is the best overall.
There were a few things that didn't work well in our server environment, but the support team patiently looked into it and solved it, and I think this company is great.
While some Appsumo companies abandon their support, I am really happy to get such a product at a low price.
Yeah, I fall within the No-Code builder category. BUt I am super happy with Zion. I have played around with others and been looking for something that gives me control of everything, in one place, and minimises the plugins. Zion is the answer for me. Taking some big learning curves, but the support, and community around Zion is great. Thanks to the team and keep it coming.
I am a Wordpress newby and I needed some time to get used to the product, but the more I use it, the more I like it. Lots of customizations possible and it works fast. Very happy I bought this.
At this time, it's really frustrating. Even simple things like changing the size of an image in the header is impossible. You can choose between thumbnail, medium, and full size. Speaking of which... I am trying for over an hour to create a simple header. I worked with several other builders, and never found myself unable to complete the most simple tasks. It also seems to be oriented on technical stuff - not conversation. I might change my review over time. Right now, I'm just tired from all the issues with making a simple header. This is for experienced people with technical background. Not what is normally called "visual builder." Yes, it's visual - but not intuitive. My last builder is Thrive Themes ... it's really like cherry and potatoe.
I really love the speed of Zion, I'm in Love! Although I'm missing a lot of Divi's plugins that I had purchased, it's definitely worth learning Zion. I will support Zion because I believe in the future and speed is a priority when it comes to building websites.
I see a lot of WordPress templates out there to design. But most of them after WordPress does a few updates most don't update. Why I like this one as they have been around a bit known by another name parent company. So I feel confident about updates. Also the plugin is very light pretty fast. I have only bought like three plugins themes to design WordPress sites. From companies who keep update with what's new. Why I like this plugin theme thing. I wish it added boxes to the blog post something I had long time ago. But that is a minor suggestion design improvment.
Yes, the page builder on wordpress is so fast that the builder opens even faster than the page itself. When designing a website, constantly reloading builders take almost half the time, or so it feels. Working with Zion builder is enjoyable. Its developers offer very fast and live support for every problem. They listen to your requests and continue to develop accordingly. A page builder with a very bright future. Are there any shortcomings? There is, of course, but it is completed very quickly. Almost every tool needed to make a site is built in. The sites you build with Zion Builder are so light that no unnecessary items are loaded. I definitely recommend it. Thank you StefanBalasa and his team.
The builder is still in active development and huge changes are happening. I'm very happy with the way this is turning out. Have not used it on a client website yet, as i'm not yet sure about the stability longterm, what i see until now update wise, makes me happy.
The builder is super fast to load, and code output is also excellent.
I'm a designer by trade and have dabbled ever so slightly into the world of wordpress. I have previously used Divi to build 1 site many moons ago.
So armed with little experience of what I should/shouldn't be doing, I found it very easy to use Zion Builder so far. Their YouTube tutorials were a big help in this step and I feel confident that Zion Builder will finally allow me to take the leap into building the sites that I design.
Having the right tools, definitely makes learning new skills much easier!
My website became very fast after using Zion Builder
My website became very fast after using Zion Builder If you are using Elementor or Divi and you do not see the Zion Builder icon, create templates and through SHORTCODE you can add them anywhere so that you can use only the important features in Elementor or Divi and by Perfmatters remove Elementor or Divi from pages where you do not use them Elementor or Divi You will see that your site has become very fast
Get yourself a great bargain - lifetime access to Zion builder on unlimited websites for just $99. A steal for a super fast website builder. I've been using Divi for years, and still will on certain webistes where I need a certain functionality.
But Zion Builder is catching up FAST with its own functionality and is a lot faster to use, and therefore less frustrating. As the months and years go by I'll be using Zion more and more - speed of the site, for end users and for developers is increasingly imprtant and I love that they are prioritising this. Highly recommended.
It's a very lightweight builder and easy to implement. A novice can use it without a problem, an experienced user will gain even more. The speed on the front end and the editor itself is very fast -- NO BLOAT, unlike many of the legacy builders on the market (Divi, Elementor, Beaver, etc.). Similar in that way to Oxygen and Bricks. VERY happy with the purchase.
I'm used to using one builder like Brizy, elementor and divi this one is much harder to navigate and UX isn't that's easy.
Also it's live text editor doesn't reflect the reality when viewing the site maybe it's glitches I don't know just know it needs to reflect changes and match them.
I have been using Zion Builder for some weeks now, and I'm really impressed. There are still work to do, but I'm so impressed by the speed and quality of the plugin. I made a review you can watch here: https://phillipstemann.com/zion-builder-intuitive-wordpress-builder/
I can't wait for global styling, it will be a real time saver.
I have had long conversations with the team about this because I don't like feeling tricked. The deal says "unlimited" but because it's unlimited the team is super afraid of it being missused and have instead set limits in the terms. I have been informed that:
I'm not allowed to sell my services with Zionbuilder included unless the price is at least higher than the subscriptionffor a Pro plan of Zionbuilder. Granted, the price is not high but it still pretty much means that we are not allowed to create campaigns or even an Appsumo deal where we put our services out for a ridiculous price. Zionbuilder has put out their software for us for $99 which is a ridiculous price for such a great piece of software but as an Appsumo user, I buy deals because I know they are "supposed" to be ridiculous. Finding out that I'm not allowed to even set my own pricing for my services, that's a big deal.
I'm adding a few quotes from our conversations. From Zionbuilder "Your business is scalable you could invest $1M in ads and the next day you will have more customers than us using our PRO plugin. We don't want to compete with ourselves."
Here is the fear of the "unlimited" license at play. Better to have an honest deal with 500 licenses or something that we can actually do what we want with rather than set up a bunch of fine print.
My question to Zionbuilder from the start was the following.
"Hi. I have the Agency license and I'm starting a hosting/web agency business. I want to provide my customers with Zionbuilder. My plan is to sell my services in different tiers to make it easier for my customers to choose something that fits their budget. In turn this translates to me not always building their entire website but sometimes only helping them getting started for a lower price and helping them on demand for an hourly payment."
I was informed that this is a complete break of the terms. "The way the license works is that you can create a website for a client and he pays for your web services like a redesign of his website. Those web services are usually valued at higher costs than our product, and each time is a different website, the amount of work they do is significant for each project. Making one single product and selling to multiple users acts like a SaaS and it is not allowed."
In other words. The only way you are allowed to use this license is if you build an entire homepage for a customer with Zionbuilder. Furthermore, you must have some kind of a monthly plan for this customer that at least costs more than the Pro plan of Zionbuilder as not to compete with their pricing. Or, and I quote "we will not hesitate to terminate any license".
I tried talking to them fo find some way to achieve my goal without breaking the terms but I was just met with no, no, no. After my 5th email, they stopped responding altogether and have ignored me completely.
Unfortunately I found this out after my 60 days so I'm stuck with a license I can not use.
It took me a while to get myself on board since is Zion builder on Appsumo. I don't regret at all!
► I manage dozens websites on WP for years and tried Elementor, also Divi, but from some unknown reason, have skipped oxygen. Two main projects built on themes with WP bakery.
► WP bakery, Divi, Elementor, those builders I have came across so far are way behind Zion builder. I do mean it, especially from the view of loading time! I am about to completely revamp my main websites soon. I can remember testing other builders, but always gave up - soooo slow and annoying.
✔ FB group is very helpful, and the team behind is working on updates and improvements quite fast. ✔ Youtube channel is very informative ✔ Unlimited website lifetime for just $99
✘ Not many prebuild blocks so far ✘ Early stage, BUT very, VERY promising - the team behind is working hard and listening any suggestions.
Super cons - Forget Divi, also Elementor (I never tried Oxygen hence can't compare), because with Zion builder you'll get an huge advantage against your competitors = Speed!
Conclusion: I must be honest. This deal on Appsumo proofs that the market place here is full of gems worth to invest. I, as a WP web developer believe in Zion from now on and I am going to revamp main company websites with Zion soon after testing on my PC locally with XAMP.
★ One of those deals you don't want to miss out, and I believe we'll see them back here on AppSumo during next two years as a AppSumo select with much higher price tag.
I got this deal and the builder is great. Our company has built over 1000 sites in elementor, we know there is an issue with speed and tried Zion. It is good but still there is room for improvement to get this into our production as we feel it is not ready yet.
We installed one of the templates provided, the slider is broken on mobile and it shows all the slides in carousel (but the display we chose is to show 1 slide).
Web. dev also shows ratings of 75-76-76-72 (no extra plugins installed, just zion builder and pro)
These are the same errors that elementor has, so please tell me how this is so much better? or I need to install extra plugins as well. Was not able to find any on the documentation
These are the errors from Web.dev High Performance Eliminate render-blocking resources High Performance Properly size images High Performance Defer offscreen images High Performance Reduce unused CSS High Performance Reduce unused JavaScript High Performance Efficiently encode images High Performance Serve images in next-gen formats High Accessibility Buttons do not have an accessible name High Accessibility Image elements do not have `[alt]` attributes
I will keep the deal for future improvements and more templates, I am sure the team is going to make this builder , one of the best ones in the market

Hi there,
Thank you so much for trying out our builder. We do our best to provide the fastest page builder on the market, and, from the reviews I see on YouTube, we deliver this promise ( I am talking about WordPress page builders that offer the same functionality as ours ).
Regarding your tests, I would need to look at the page and see what theme are you using for tests as I noticed several errors that cannot come from the builder and I will try to explain why: - High Performance Eliminate render-blocking resources - The builder only loads its necessary assets. It may be possible that this error is coming from the theme - High Performance Properly size images - The builder lets you choose the exact image size you want to use, and, on top of this it uses the HTML5 "srcset" attribute to provide various image sizes - High Performance Defer offscreen images - The builder doesn't have a built-in lazy load system as in our tests, most of the themes do have this system implemented, and, in cases where this is not available, all caching plugins have the lazy load option. - High Performance Reduce unused CSS - As mentioned earlier, the builder generates the minimal amount of CSS needed for a page. Also, in the next update, this will be greatly improved. - High Performance Reduce unused JavaScript - As with the CSS, the builder doesn't load any js file if it is not needed - High Performance Efficiently encode images - This error is referring to the images used. - High Performance Serve images in next-gen formats - This error is referring to the images used - High Accessibility Buttons do not have an accessible name - Unlike other builders, we do provide the ability to set custom HTML attributes for all elements. This error can be resolved by specifying the correct "role" and "aria-" attributes. This cannot be done by us for all the buttons as each button can have different roles. - High Accessibility Image elements do not have `[alt]` attributes - The builder uses the built-in image functionality from WordPress. This means that as long as you set an alt tag to the image in the Media Manager, it will be printed by Zion.
Regarding the slider problem, it would help if you can let us know what demo did you install so we can correct the problem.
For any additional questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to post on our Facebook community as I am very active and can provide more details about our product and even optimization advice to websites built with Zion.

Good for copy and paste
It has its features, however it is not too compatible with the latest version of WordPress. Especially with WIDGET, it is incompatible.
