A: Our data combines official government sources with our best estimates. We refine this information based on projections received from one of our partners. For accuracy, we primarily use ZCTA (ZIP Code Tabulation Areas) as the base level for aggregating attributes for cities, states, etc. While we can also work at the Census Tract level for greater accuracy, we find that targeting at the ZIP Code level is more practical and relevant for our users, especially since most marketing and social media platforms allow targeting by ZIP Codes rather than by census tracts.
