    Zoho Writer is an online word-processing tool that allows you to create and share documents online.

    As part of the Zoho Workspace suite, Zoho Writer provides a complete environment for editing, annotating, merging files, and publishing online (to WordPress or Blogger).

    It is a powerful tool with real-time collaboration capabilities. While Zoho Writer is an ideal document editing and collaboration tool for small teams and companies, it also provides a flexible and affordable solution for large distributed teams.

    With Zoho Writer, users can create, edit, collaborate and publish documents online and in real-time. For the final validation of a document, a workflow form can be created with different fields such as timestamps, checkboxes, or the publishing of a signature.

    To collect signatures, Zoho Sign suggests handwritten signatures based on the user's surname, which are quite credible. It is also possible to import your signature.

    Collaborate on documents with your teammates in real-time, see who's writing what, and leave comments and suggestions for edits. Zoho Writer also lets you lock portions of a document that you don't want your collaborators to edit. All you have to do is to turn off Collaboration.

    Zoho Writer is also equipped with Zia, an AI smart writing assistant. The AI is trained to help you write better. Zia can understand the context of your piece, and helps you polish it beautifully.

    Zoho Writer Offline mode capability allows you to work even when there's no network. The best part is that it syncs all your work automatically when reconnected and works on all major web browsers—not just Google Chrome. So, you won't have to worry about constantly saving your work.

    Zoho Writer also offers tight integration with MS Word to ensure a seamless working experience. Users can review content in Zoho Writer with the track changes option and view all changes made in MS Word.

    As for supported document formats, no worries for those who usually work with Microsoft Office or OpenOffice.org. Zoho Writer can import DOC, DOCX, SXW, ODT, RTF, TXT, JPG, GIF, PNG, and HTML files and can export created or modified documents to DOC, DOCX, PDF, SXW, ODT, RTF, TXT, or LaTex.
