Q: Sending Domains + IP Addresses
Hi,
How many sending domains can you setup per account?
Also, what measures are taken to make sure that there is high quality sending IP addresses?

Edited Nov 24, 2024A: Hi - there’s no practical limitation on the number of sending domains you can connect to your account. You can set up as many as you need for your business following the limits on every tier:
- Tier 1 (2)
- Tier 2 (3)
- Tier 3 (5)
- Tier 4 (6)
- Tier 5 (7)
- Tier 6 (10)
As for ensuring high-quality sending IPs, we prioritize email deliverability by using Amazon SES as the backbone of our email infrastructure. Some key measures we take include:
Automatic Warmup: Gradual ramp-up of sending volume to build a strong sender reputation.
Auto-Unsubscribe for Hard Bounces: Invalid email addresses are automatically removed to keep your list clean and protect your sender score.
List-Unsubscribe Headers: Adds a simple one-click unsubscribe option for better user experience and compliance.
Domain Verification Support: Helps you verify your domain with policies like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to enhance email authentication and prevent spoofing.
These features work together to ensure your emails are sent from high-quality, reputable IPs with optimal deliverability. :)
Let me know if you have any other questions or need further clarification!

@chad160 yay! On top of what Marta said, we're planning to ship an addon in the future to let you buy dedicated IPs. This is something we have offered on the previous version on the product and users with a high volume will get benefit from it!
on top since we run on AWS, we have our own IPs + shared IPs from AWS, and as Marta said we got lots of procedures to monitor and warmup your content.

marta is updating first comment to not create confusion

I am confused. At one place you say, we can have as many sending domains in account for any tier. But then here you have custom domain limits per tier. What kind of custom domain limit is this?

@cisne hey, there is no place in the listing where we say you can connect unlimited domains. If you see it on the listing it says "Add custom domains to send emails". Since people asked, we explained that in the comment, since we do impose limits per tier. Hope it helps to clarify it, and we provide this information upfront so you can take an informed decision before buying.

Not in listing, but in one of the answers below you mentioned it

I guess we are getting lost in translation somewhere...

Hi @csine, apologies for the confusion—that was my mistake in the earlier comment. When we follow up on the policy I tried commenting on every post but missed that one. As mentioned above, custom domains do have limits per tier. We released a community note + changelog 4 days ago: https://go.zootools.ai/announce-hide-logo
