We’ve just shipped a new VoiceDash update focused on improving stability and polishing some of the most important parts of the Desktop apps (Windows and Mac).

This release focuses on making VoiceDash more reliable during everyday use, especially around shortcuts and audio recording.

🔧 What’s improved

⌨️ Shortcut Listener Module

• More reliable keyboard shortcut detection
• Fixed cases where shortcuts didn’t trigger consistently

🎙 Audio Recorder Module

Major improvements to the recording pipeline:

• Better microphone detection
• Smoother mic switching
• Improved real-time audio waveform display
• Overall recording stability improvements

📋 Paste Module

• Improved pasting behavior after transcription
• Fixed inconsistencies across different apps

🛠 Other improvements

• Multiple minor bug fixes
• Stability improvements across the app
• Internal optimizations

A new version of the Android app is released (1.0.5) where we fixed some minor bugs reported by users in the since the beta launch:

- The history section not showing the transcriptions

- Overlay icon not appearing or working properly in some apps (Snapchat,..etc)

• Instant Cloud Sync: Start a recording on your phone and access the polished text on your desktop account immediately.
• Beta Access: We've launched this as a Beta to get it to you as quickly as possible. Expect rapid updates as we fine-tune the experience!

We’re excited to announce enhancements to the voice bar user experience.

• Default Setting: The voice bar is now permanently displayed at the bottom of the screen.
• Hidden Mode: Users can disable the Voicebar display in settings, making it hidden until activated by tapping the key to start recording. After completing a recording, the voice bar will automatically hide after a few seconds.
