Q: Interested with this offer.

But after seeing some reviews concerned about the provision process. Is there a way to put an account on hold instead of declining us? Until we can adhere to the requirements otherwise that is a serious issue.

A: I understand the concern you're voicing. In general, if we see that the mail being sent is of poor quality, we reserve the right to cancel the account. We may choose to suspend it only if it is clear that the account is being hurt by the actions of a single domain. In that case, we'll restore service once the offending domain is removed or corrected.

Q: I might have a use case for this in 2 months or maybe 2 years, but from what I read, I'll most probably get ...

rejected too (I am sure of this because even those seasoned sumo-lings who purchased 100's of codes still get their provision rejected! A newbie like me would not dare to try my luck.) So I like to know if I can redeem the code with private email and start sending months later when I have a developer to figure it out?

Q: Hey there Sumo-lings!

Here are some answers to the questions that you have been asking:

Why isn’t my account being provisioned?

The exact nature of SocketLabs’ provisioning criteria is a common question. Unfortunately, it's impossible to provide a definitive answer for several reasons. First, we cannot provide services for every interested party in the same way that a CRM vendor or some other SaaS application might. This is because email delivery success is based largely on our platform developing and maintaining a strong sender reputation (based on rules that the inbox providers like Google & Microsoft have created). The only way to ensure the best possible results for everyone on the platform is to be vigilant about our provisioning process. That means we can't support all sending desires or situations which cannot meet a high reputation standard. Our AUP is very stringent for this reason. We also evaluate each incoming account request using manual methods and automated tools to proactively evaluate incoming account requests for potential fraud or misuse concerns. We cannot share the details of this evaluation as that would provide published clues for those that wish to intentionally circumnavigate our protections. Even after an account is established we will continue to monitor the email traffic to look ensure best practices are being followed and will suspend accounts if the mail quality is observed to be poor. We apologize that for these reasons some well-intentioned AppSumo customers will not be provisioned. There is no concern of losing your money however as we and AppSumo are happy to refund the purchase if it turns out that the account can't be established.

Will I be able to send up to my message limit as soon as my account is provisioned?

SocketLabs’ goal is to give your messages the highest odds of reaching the recipient's inbox. This requires us to establish a strong reputation for your email with mailbox providers. Accomplishing this requires us to initially throttle the rate at which we deliver your email. This is an automatic "warm-up" process that gets the mailbox providers (i.e. Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc...) familiar with your email, without bombarding them with too much too soon. You will notice your messages being delivered increasingly faster over the first few weeks of your service as the warm-up period progresses.

A: Can I add a dedicated IP or other Pro Plan features with my AppSumo plan?

Seeing significant interest in the dedicated IPs, we have updated the program to allow AppSumo customers to add a dedicated IP address to their plan at a discounted monthly rate of $19.99. You can contact SocketLabs support to add this feature. In addition, the full StreamScore detail view is available with three codes. In addition, to allow Sumo-lings a way to send beyond 75k messages, we’re offering the ability to add on “additional messages” at our Basic Plan additional message rate. Lastly, we are offering a 20% lifetime discount when you upgrade to any of our Pro or above plans. All of these features are accessible by contacting support.

What is a whitelisted authentication IP?

First, let me say this is different from a dedicated outbound sending IP. A whitelisted authentication IP allows you use a source application's IP address as the login credentials when the app/website does not support usernames and passwords. We customize the account to recognize and accept theincoming mail that originates from that IP address.It is not related to a dedicated outbound sending IP which provides a unique IP address from which to send email. This allows a sender to control and develop their own sending reputation free from the potential effects of other senders.

Q: Any chance for integration with Sendiio autoresponder?

I like to use Sendiio as an effective autoresponder.
If any possibility Sendiio support email is (support@zamuraiblogger.com). You are free to liaise with them for a solution if possible.
To get the integration with Sendiio, their API documentation page link is (https://sendiio.com/pages/view/sendiio-api)
at this point, all I'm doing is asking possible integration.

Q: I'm very interested in SocketLabs as a replacement for Sendgrid to manage WordPress transactional emails.

One feature of Sendgrid we love is the ability to drill into a single domain's email history and see whether a specific email was delivered or not. Example: client says the contact form email never hit her inbox, when in fact we can see it was delivered and opened on a date and time.

Does SocketLabs have this level of reporting? Thanks!!

A: Thanks for your question. First, we are adding domain level reporting feature within the next week as a matter of fact. Separately, yes we have the ability to see the result of an individual message like you describe, but technically it's not a drill-down within the domain reporting. Hopefully that makes sense.
