Overview

iubenda is a tool that lets you easily meet the latest legal requirements of the GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and other privacy laws, plus make cookie banners, privacy policies, and terms and conditions.

You may have only a vague idea of which legal requirements your business needs to satisfy. (Legalese = way too hard)

That’s why iubenda is here to help you figure out which requirements apply to your specific website or app, depending on your location and user base.

You’ll also get a cookie banner, consent management tools and all necessary legal documents/features to stay up-to-date with regulations, including the super strict ones.

Plus, iubenda supports 9 languages for its privacy and cookie policies, as well as the terms and conditions.

You’re covered whether you need the documents in American English, British English, Italian, German, French, Dutch, Russian, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese.

Make your website or app compliant with domestic and international regulations by adding policies in up to 9 languages!

You can check all legal requirements from a central dashboard, and then create a cookie banner, privacy and cookie policy, and terms and conditions in just a few clicks.

These documents are customizable, with over 1,800 clauses and popular services available to fully tailor your banners or legal documents to your specific business needs.

iubenda is fully responsive and works on both websites and apps to have you covered on both fronts, and you can adjust for different privacy laws by simply clicking a button if your needs change.

Customize legal documents with 1,800+ options for altering clauses and tailoring banners!

With iubenda, you never have to worry about constantly changing laws, either.

All legal documents are updated automatically whenever the laws change, with legal experts working round the clock to keep an eye on things .

Even better, iubenda will run automated scans of your website periodically, notifying you of any of any potentially missing clauses or services you should address.

Get automatic updates for legal documents whenever laws change, with close monitoring from legal experts!

iubenda is optimized for e-commerce, marketplace, and SaaS businesses, as well as applications to make sure you’re in good standing with the privacy laws that apply to you.

You’ll also be able to manage consent preferences in accordance with ePrivacy, GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and more – from one central dashboard.

For even more flexibility you can integrate your cookie banner and legal documents via embed code, link, or plugin, including support for WordPress, Magento, Joomla! and much more.

Make your site or app GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and ePrivacy compliant with a click!

Getting your website shut down because of noncompliant cookies is a lot less cool than it sounds. (The Cookie Monster in this case is lawyers.)

Stay protected and up-to-date with custom cookie banners, terms and conditions, privacy policies, and more, so you can focus on your business—not fines and lawsuits.

It’s time to be the ruler of all rules.

Q: Hello, 1- How many domains and subdomains can I create the cookie consent for?

2. We have our own custom forms with a consent question, do we need to use your api to send you the consent data?
3. If we do not find the service from your drop down when generating updated policy, can we add it manually?
4. Does this reflect the most recent EU/gdpr changes?

Thank you

A: Hi there and thank you for your questions.

As for the Consent Solution, that is for your iubenda account. So any websites/apps you add would use the feature and share the consents.

Yes you would use our API for that and here is a guide on regards to Consent Forms which you can use also: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/22475-how-to-create-a-gdpr-contact-form as well as a guide for our consent form examples: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/21996-gdpr-consent-form-examples

If you are not seeing a service that you need in our list, you can go to our forum to see if anyone has already submitted the request for it to be added and if they have you can upvote it. If they have not, you can submit the request but please know that there are many requests so they do take time, so it would depend on how much traffic it receives from other users. https://support.iubenda.com/support/discussions/forums/42000115769

For now, you can add a custom service/clause if you need it to be on your policy by using the steps in this guide here: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/386-how-to-add-a-custom-service-and-customize-to-your-needs

Yes our solutions are fully GDPR, CCPA, & LGPD compliant.

I hope this helps! :)

Q: Hi, Thanks for your amazing product, I just have two questions: 1.

How can I customize or remove the little consent badge at the bottom of my website?
2. Do you have any plan on adding Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)?

Thanks

A: Hello and thank you for your questions:

1) You can easily disable the widget by adding the "iubenda-cs-preferences-link" class to a custom link or button. This will create a link that will allow users to update their Cookie preferences after having closed the cookie banner.

Here's an example: <a href="#" class="iubenda-cs-preferences-link">Cookie Preferences</a>

If you are using our CMP you should use this class instead: "iubenda-advertising-preferences-link"

For more information and instructions: https://www.iubenda.com/en/help/7440-iab-framework-cmp#update-tcf-preferences

You can also move the widget directly using the option from the Cookie Solution configurator. Here's a screenshot for more clarity: https://dsh.re/8c5394

2) Yes, we do have plans to add Canada among the legislations we cover, and our legal team si working on it as we speak.

Q: I am an existing iUbenda customer, but i recently has a client ask me why i was not taking advantage of this ...

and instead billing them monthly for the same service.

The question from my client is if they purchase a licence can they use this offer on their website themselves, or because i had already created a instance of an iubenda account for them would this be prohibited?

Many thanks in advance

A: Hi there, great question.

So the offer is for new customers only but that applies to just the iubenda account. If the code is redeemed to an account that has never had paid service with iubenda then it will be fine.

I hope this helps. :)
