I spent my career on both sides of documentation. As a software analyst, I was the person who had to write it. As a technical marketing manager, I was the person who needed it. Either way, it was a nightmare. Screenshots went out of date the week we published them. Guides lived in five tools and three people's heads. And "just ask Sara" was our real documentation system. So I tried every leading SOP tool, properly, with real teams. Each one solved part of the problem and created a new one: - Some locked basics like automatic redaction behind enterprise plans. - Some charged for every person who only needed to read a guide. - Some gave me videos nobody could search. - And every one still left me redrawing arrows when the product changed. Then I got a call at 3 AM. Something critical had broken. The one person who knew how to fix it was asleep, and the "documentation" was a page that said "then do the usual". I spent that night clicking around in the dark, trying to work out what someone else already knew. That night I stopped looking for a better tool and started building one. agentswalk_ is what I wished I'd had: - Record mode: press Record, do the task once, and every click becomes a step with a screenshot. AI writes clear instructions for each step. - Agent mode: give the AI agent a goal and it walks your web app and drafts the guide. It shows you its plan first, asks before anything it can't undo, and never touches password or payment fields. - Auto-blur on every plan: emails, phone numbers and API keys are hidden before a guide is saved. - Share it your way: a link with a password and expiry date, an embed, an in-app tour, a translated version, a narrated MP4, or a PDF, Markdown or SCORM file for your training system. I built it for the person who gets the 3 AM call, and for the team that shouldn't have to make it.
