I’m sharing this in case it helps other users who rely only on a debit card. I purchased the AI Power Pack bundle and tried to redeem the Gumloop Solo Plan. My Visa debit card worked when buying the bundle on AppSumo, but the same card was repeatedly declined on Gumloop’s checkout page, so I have never been able to complete redemption. AppSumo support issued several new codes, and each code applied correctly, but the payment step always failed with the same decline error. Gumloop support explained that they cannot change their payment gateway’s card acceptance rules. I’m posting this not as criticism but to note a structural issue: a card can succeed on AppSumo but still be rejected on a partner site, making redemption impossible for users without a credit card or PayPal.
I purchased the AI Power Pack bundle but have been unable to redeem the Gumloop plan because my only payment method (Visa debit card) was declined by Gumloop’s system, although it worked on AppSumo. I don’t have PayPal or another card. After several attempts, the promo code is now marked as expired and removed from the order. I’ve emailed both AppSumo and Gumloop support, but haven’t received a solution after more than a week. I’m also worried that if similar issues happen with the other bundled tools, it may be impossible to redeem anything before the deadline. Has anyone had the same experience? How was it resolved? Any advice or official assistance would be appreciated.
