Four issues, but I'll keep the app.

After using this for a while, I came to a conclusion and I'm writing my review. The first thing that I don't like is that the prompt can only be called at the start of the chat. You cannot add a prompt in the middle of the chat or even at the end; you need to be at the start. This is something I would not expect from this app.

Second, the smart tags have a mind of their own. They include a few default tags that most of us won't even need, and they are extra in the workflow. If you add your own custom tags, the system might find a post that is two months old but will not find a post you have just written a few seconds ago. This is a second main hurdle. The way the search is organized, you don't know which chat is the earlier one or the later one. It would be advisable to add a date with that particular chat name to give a view of what date we are actually dealing with.

The third issue is that when you make folders and refresh your page more often, the folders are not completely loaded and they miss their content. To get that working you need to refresh the page until you see all. This again is something that needs to be solved.

The fourth thing is that it needs a stronger PC. For example, my desktop PC is an i9, so it takes about 4 to 5 seconds to load. When I am on a slower laptop like an i3 or i5, it takes about 12 seconds to load. Imagine the pain when you have to spend 12 seconds just to browse in between.

The most important question, even besides all of this, is: will I keep this app? Yes, I will. Great things take time to build, and we have to support the developers for this purpose. That's why I'll keep this, and I hope these issues will be resolved and this will become one of the best apps. That's what I pray for it. I request the developers to please solve these issues.

First, thank you. This is the kind of review we actually learn from - specific, fair, and generous enough to stick with us while we improve. And thank you for keeping the app; that means a lot. Let me answer all four honestly, because you have earned a straight response.

1. Prompts only insert at the start. You are exactly right, and it is a real limitation, not your setup. Today inserting a prompt replaces the composer instead of dropping it in at your cursor, so it always ends up at the top. That is not the behavior we want either. Inserting at the caret (middle or end, keeping what you have already typed) is now on our fix list.

2. Smart Tags. Three fair points, three honest answers:

The default tags: you are right that a built-in set is forced on everyone. We are going to add a way to hide or turn off the built-in tags so they do not clutter your workflow.

A brand-new chat not being found while an old one is: this is a sync-timing issue. Smart Tags read from the extension's local copy of your history, and a chat written seconds ago has not been pulled in yet. We are working on making new chats index faster so this gap closes.

Dates in results: in the main Search you already get a date next to each chat, so ordering is visible there. You are correct that the Smart Tags results list does not show a date yet - we will add it there too so you always know which chat is earlier or later.

3. Folders not fully loading on refresh. Confirmed, and it is on us. On refresh the folder tree renders from a single fetch and can come back partial (and the chats inside can still be catching up), which is why repeated refreshes "complete" it. We are adding proper retry and quicker reconciliation so it fills in on the first load instead of making you refresh.

4. Load time on slower machines. This is real and we take it seriously. Most of that time is the first-load sync of your history plus some tag recomputation that currently runs more often than it should. We are moving that heavy work off the critical path and making the recompute far leaner, which should especially help i3/i5 machines like the one you described.

None of these are excuses - they are our to-do list, written down because you took the time to lay them out clearly. Thank you for the patience and for betting on us early. If you ever want to talk through any of it directly, we are at [email protected].
