Can Image to Text and Image Variations be changed to allow uploading images instead of just providing image URLs?

Hi, I bought T1 and generated less than a dozen good images; I generated others which I had to reject and the system indicated it was credited. Now I am checking my credits and it shows that I have only 430 out of the 500 I had. Can you please explain about credit usage as each image indicated I was using 1 credit each. Thank you
