Could be Amazing!
I have been using AiTable.ai for a couple of months. I have a couple of kanban boards and have managed to get webhook integrations to work both inbound and outbound. It has been a go-to tool for part of my productivity.
The evolution of Automations will greatly improve the tool. The roadmap indicates some of that is coming. Being able to update a record status or add wait times in Automations would increase the tool's usability. Making webhooks easier by automatically importing the entire json structure and letting that be edited would make it much easier to work with. However, everything I have wanted to do with integrations I have been able to do by using an external integration using webhooks.
There are some small UX details that I hope will improve over time. Such as the way you have to delete records in bulk on the grid view is more difficult than it should be.
Probably the most annoying thing is even at tier 5 you only get one workspace. You can set permissions within the workspaces for individual datasheets and folder structures so it can be worked around. It would have been nice to provide an extra workspace or two at the highest levels of investment for the AppSumo community. An additional workspace would have allowed me to separate a couple of organizational areas for easier accessibility. This is probably my greatest disappointment with the tool.
Even given some of these improvements I would like to see, I think this is an excellent tool and has the potential to be amazing. I would recommend this for anyone who has used AirTable or is interested in managing their work in a similar way. With a little bit of tech savvy you can integrate multiple tools with it to create the overall experience you want. No tool is perfect. Therefore, I feel AiTable.ai deserves 5 tacos.

Jun 28, 2024Thank you for your detailed and honest feedback on AiTable.ai. We appreciate your suggestions on automations and are actively exploring ways to incorporate these into future updates.
In fact, we discussed your suggestion with AppSumo during this launch, but it was not implemented due to our space basis billing technical architecture, which is designed to accommodate our unlimited seats and balance sustainable operations. This framework would prevent the processing of subsequent user upgrades, downgrades, and refunds across both our platform and Appsumo. Therefore, we ultimately decided not to move forward with this plan. I would also like to take this opportunity to explain our underlying thoughts and challenges, which may also answer similar questions from other users.
Again, thank you so much for your 5-taco review despite these issues. Your insights are invaluable to our improvement.
