"Unicorn" data hub on LTD
This quickly became my unicorn app for working with data. It's easily replaced Airtable and NocoDB, and I'm turning to it more often instead of using Excel/Google Sheets and Notion for many tasks.
How does this not have more reviews?
It can do a bit of everything related to data—built-in API connections, automations, charting (light BI/data viz), pivot tables, AI chatbots (trained on your datasheets), custom scripting, embedding/sharing, etc.
This is the cloud-hosted version of an open-source project (APITable), so it's got transparency and longevity. And hosting is included.
I tested Tier 1, and then upgraded to Tier 3. I'm eyeballing Tier 4 so I never outgrow the "node"' limitations and have higher automation and file storage limits.
I keep thinking, what if I could have bought Airtable on LTD back in the day? Which tier would I have bought?
The only downside I encountered is that it doesn't work with Brave browser for some reason. You can't select field/column headers and there's some other wonkyness. I got around that issue by creating a site-specific browser for it, using the WebKit 2-based Unite app.
It would be nice to either have a desktop app (Electron-based or whatever) or fix the Brave browser incompatibilities.

May 16, 2024Hi working_theory, thank you for choosing AITable as your "unicorn" data hub and for your enthusiastic review! We're thrilled to hear how it has seamlessly replaced other tools and enhanced your data management experience. Your insights on its versatility and cloud-hosting benefits are greatly appreciated.
Regarding the Brave browser issue you mentioned, we've noticed that some users have successfully resolved it by disabling the Brave Shield for AITable's domain name. You might want to give that a try. Your support and constructive suggestions are invaluable to us as we continue to improve AITable.
