The book lives as chapters, not pages, because pages only become fixed at export time: the same text flows differently in EPUB, in a 5x8 print PDF, and in a 6x9. So layout happens at the export step, where you pick trim size and the pages are set. For the big structural edits: the AI Editor proposes changes for you to accept or reject inside a chapter, but merging chapters or moving narration between them is done by reordering on the outline and moving text yourself.
