Recommeded for serious writers
This tool is a great time-saver. It’s incredibly easy to use and handles all the heavy lifting of drafting without overcomplicating the process. The output quality is genuinely good, and the chapters actually flow well. On top of that, the dev team is super responsive to feedback. Since the platform runs on the newest AI models, the results are way better than other tools I've tried. Highly recommend this for serious writers!

Sep 17, 2026Hi AIAFTECH,
Thank you for writing this. You picked out the part we care about most: chapters that flow. Each chapter is written with the previous one in front of the AI, so it picks up where the last one ended instead of starting fresh.
Good to hear the feedback loop shows from your side too. Requests go on our public roadmap, where people vote on what we build next, so keep them coming:...

Easy to use, flexibility to make it truly yours
AIWriteBook is not like the other AI writing apps I have used. It doesn't just write for you, it helps you build the framework of your story, so it's your ideas that are incorporated. And there's always a lot of flexibility to change the text and you can incorporate your own images. It seems to have a decent memory also so there is continuum in the characters and stories. I did spot a few discrepancies though, but that's why it's on us to review and make changes as we go along. This makes a great assistant.

Sep 16, 2026Hi there,
Thank you for this. "It's your ideas that are incorporated" is exactly what we want the app to be: you build the framework, the AI writes from it, and you stay in charge of both.
You are right that a discrepancy slips through now and then, and a few habits keep them rare. Put anything that has to stay fixed (names, ages, looks, relationships, the rules of your world) into the character...

Best Writing Software so far but Expensive and a little glitchy
So this is the best writing software I have seen so far. Its an all in one package. Has everything you need from trending topics to chapter and cover generation. You also get to choose your models. I haven't explored everything but it has almost everything I would want. Honeslty I am contemplating upgrading to Tier 4 if I can get appsumo to give me the right pricing since the price has gone up since I bought it
The only issue is it is expensive. Every task requires credits and you can run out fast. I have Tier 3 and was able to publish two books with them all using claude as a model. It charges per chapter and not words which is weird since they won't amount to the same thing. Like a chapter can be big or small. At Tier 3 I would expect to generate at least 10ish books
Yes the BYOK is there but then I need to pay Open router or whatever, which I don't want to. If they could give me direct key plugins for the 3 agents they support I can bring down the cost till I don't hit their limits
A few glitches I found were for each book even though I generated all the chapters the final books somehow has a chapter missing. I had to go back and regenerate which wasted credits.
The keyword generator seemed a miss.I tried a few times and the keyword generated were not great. Finally my biggest complaint is that the charger credits for upload. It is first and foremost an editor. If I have a outline/ layout or even a rough manuscript charging me credits to upload defeats the purpose. That is one thing the developer should definitely fix.

Sep 16, 2026Hey,
Thank you for publishing two books with us and for writing down exactly where it hurt. Taking your points in order.
Pricing per chapter. You are right, a chapter costs the same whether it is short or long: 15 credits on Gemini, 20 on Grok, 30 on Claude. Chapter length is set per chapter in the outline, so longer chapters get you more words per credit. For scale, a 35-chapter book on Claude...

The Best AI Writing App So Far!
For me, AI WriteBook is currently the best AI writing app I have found for writing books.
Before discovering it, I also tried and looked at other popular platforms such as Sudowrite and Squibler but neither of them really convinced me. I wasn’t particularly happy with the user interface, and overall they simply didn’t feel like the right tools for the way I wanted to write my books.
Then I discovered AI WriteBook almost by accident. I was able to generate my first chapter for free, which gave me the opportunity to explore how the software works before making a purchase. I was immediately impressed and quickly realized: this is the software I want to use. I decided to purchase the Lifetime Tier 3 plan, and I am already working on my first book with it. So far, I have generated two chapters, and I am genuinely very impressed with the results. What I especially like is the functionality of the app and the way it supports the book-writing process. Based on my experience so far, I can absolutely recommend AI WriteBook to anyone who wants to use AI to help write a book.
One thing I would love to see improved in the future is the user interface. At the moment, the design is still quite simple, and I think a more modern, visually appealing interface would make the whole experience even better.
But when it comes to the actual functionality of the software, it already deserves five stars from me. I’m very excited to continue writing my first book and to discover everything else AI WriteBook has to offer.

Sep 16, 2026Thank you, Kateli. Letting people write a whole first chapter before paying is on purpose, and it is good to hear that is what convinced you after trying Sudowrite and Squibler.
On the interface: it is fair that the design is plain. If you have specific screens or things that feel dated, add them to our public roadmap, other writers can vote there and it is what we plan from:...

Does exactly what it promises!
It's not often that I give a product on AppSumo 5 stars, but AIWriteBook truly deserves it! The quality of this platform is outstanding, and it outperforms all others that claim to do the same thing.
AIWriteBook actually nails what it sets out to do. Instead of fighting with a generic chat window that forgets what happened three chapters ago, you get a clean space built entirely around how books are actually put together. From outlining and character notes to design and formatting. It's not a magic "publish a bestseller while you sleep" button, and you still have to keep an eye on the steering wheel so the plot doesn't drift off course. But if you want a solid co-pilot to help punch through writer's block and finally get your manuscript across the finish line, it’s definitely worth picking up.

Sep 16, 2026Thank you for this. "Keep an eye on the steering wheel" is how we think about it too: the outline, the characters and each chapter stay in your hands, and the AI does the heavy lifting in between. Glad it is getting manuscripts over the line for you.
I hope it helps!
