Thank you for this. "It's your ideas that are incorporated" is exactly what we want the app to be: you build the framework, the AI writes from it, and you stay in charge of both.

You are right that a discrepancy slips through now and then, and a few habits keep them rare. Put anything that has to stay fixed (names, ages, looks, relationships, the rules of your world) into the character entries on the Details step, since the writer gets those with every chapter. For a slip in a finished chapter, highlight the passage and tell the AI chat editor what to fix. It shows the change and you accept or reject it, for 5 credits. Once several chapters are written, the Review in the Book Editor reads the whole manuscript and points out continuity slips across chapters.
