When I write, I just write. I don’t think about all the professional things I should consider. Well… with this app, that is impossible because it thinks for you. It’s like it knows what your book needs to be seen as authoritative, a great read, and/or a best seller. . I usually just write and let someone edit it. The editing itself is worth any money you’ll pay. It does the line editing, sentence by sentence. You get to see what and why it edited it. Then you get to decide if you agree with the edit or not. I pay an editor lots for that. The down side is… the first book I’m writing with this app, is more of a simple book for my business. The app doesn’t want to keep it simple and it is blowing the book up much bigger and longer than I really want. You can say the app is very thorough. It’s not a bad thing. I think I should be able to set the number of words I’d like to limit the book to. It reviews your book, writes the back description and creates a good looking book cover. I was wondering if the number of credits were enough. The writing process and everything else is pretty cheap with its credit usage. I will definitely bring some of my other unfinished manuscripts to this app. Overall, the app is pretty amazing. I have other apps and this one is the best.

Thank you! I'm glad the line edits feel like working with your editor: you see what changed and why, and you decide.
On the book growing longer than you want: you can control that today, it is just split into two settings. The number of chapters is on the Basics step (anywhere from 1 to 100). Each chapter also has its own Target Words, which you can change on the chapter card in the Outline step, or in the sidebar on the writing screen right before you generate. The number already there is only what the outline AI picked, so for a short business book lower it and cut the chapter count. Chapters times Target Words gives you roughly the length of the book.
For chapters that are already written, you can delete text yourself in the editor for free, or ask the AI chat next to the chapter something like "condense this chapter by about a third, keep the key points". It shows the changes as highlighted edits you accept or reject, at 5 credits per instruction.
