chetan_agarwalllQ: Does the AppSumo plan allow API/MCP-based automation creation like n8n?
Hi Albato team,
I’m considering the AppSumo lifetime deal. My key use case is having my AI/coding assistant build and manage automations for me, similar to how it works with n8n.
Can the AppSumo plan support this?
Specifically:
1. Can an external assistant create, update, activate, pause, delete, import, or export automations via API or JSON?
2. Is there a public REST API for managing workflows, triggers, actions, field mapping, connections, logs, and errors?
3. Is MCP Server, Embedded API, Headless API, Universal API, or Solution API included in any AppSumo tier?
4. Can custom apps/webhooks/HTTP requests be fully configured without manually using the UI?
If this requires manual workflow building inside Albato, it may not fit my use case. Please clarify what is included.

1. These capabilities are available through our Embedded offering. However, this functionality is not included as part of the AppSumo plan.
2. We provide API-based automation management capabilities to Embedded customers. However, a public REST API for these functions is not available under the AppSumo offering and is reserved for customers on our Embedded plan.
3. No. Among the features you mentioned, only MCP will be available, and it will be included as part of our AI Agents functionality.
4. Users can now simply describe what they want to achieve in plain language via chat, and Copilot will automatically build the automation for them. However, the setup of new app integrations still needs to be completed manually through the App Integrator.
