Q: Please change/improve copy paste to keep formatting in place
it would be nice if when I copy and paste onto a word doc, that it keeps the formatting in place. It makes me want to refund because now I have to reformat everything. big time waster

Sep 26, 2024A: Thanks for the feedback! Right now, using the “Copy” button removes formatting, but if you manually copy the text with your mouse, it should keep the formatting when pasting into Word or other docs.

Q: YouTube video
How can I use this if it doesn’t summarize a YouTube url? Isn’t that the whole point of the tool?

Sep 26, 2024A: While we no longer support direct YouTube imports, you can still download the video using a tool like 4K Video Downloader or iTubeGO and upload it to Alphana. Once uploaded, Alphana can generate summaries and other content for you. You can also connect your Google Drive, Instagram, Dropbox or OneDrive accounts to get your videos.

Q: How to tag the speakers in the video?
In Castmagic, you can specify the speakers in the video so that all the generated content has their names correctly spelled. It isn't easy to figure out how to do it in Alphana. That seems like a basic feature that has been overlooked. Did I miss something?

That said, both transcript editing and speaker tagging are highly requested features, and we’re already working on them. We expect to have both ready in October.
