Why I built AltGen

I have spent years building tools for images and documents. markupgo.com converts them. But I kept seeing the same problem: teams with big image libraries still write alt text by hand, one image at a time. Many teams just skip it. It takes too long, it does not work well for hundreds of images, and it is often the first thing people cut when a deadline is close.

That is why I built AltGen. You give it a folder, a CSV file, or a URL, and it writes accessible, SEO-ready alt text in minutes, not days. It works in any language your customers use. You can use the dashboard if you like clicking through steps, or the API if you want to connect it to your own upload process. AltGen is still new, and I am building it in the open based on what real users need.
