A: Hi there! Such a great question!

Dissimilar from other PRM tools, Alvanda actually helps teams *create the company of their dreams.*

Other BPM tools (I prefer not to mention names) just focus on automatizing the processes themselves and nothing else.

Now, that's not to discredit or minimize their usefulness. Not at all--we spent over 2 years building an enterprise-grade BPM tool, so we know how difficult it is.

At the same time, Alvanda steps much deeper into every company by guiding them towards *How business SHOULD be done.*

Alvanda helps companies define and gain clarity on their mission and vision, it helps them consciously build and maintain the culture they want, it helps everyone on the team understand exactly where they fit into the picture and what's expected of them, it helps them become much more strategic with their efforts, and many, many other benefits that actually takes companies forward.

Most businesses aren't struggle because they don't automate a couple workflows... They're struggling because the *fundamentals of business excellence (such as company-wide clarity, alignment, and accountability) are not in place!* :)

THAT is what Alvanda helps companies achieve. The BPM side of the platform is just PART of that goal. :)

Hope this helps!

As always, if you need any help building up your business, email support@alvanda.com and the team will gladly be of service!

Thank you!

Thanks for the swift reply, Robert. To follow up, what do you mean by *How business SHOULD be done*? Are you thinking in terms of ISO standards or something else? After all, it's rarely a one size fits all situation when it comes to processes. However, a lot of smaller companies would love to implement processes that follow the ISO-9001 and/or ISO-14001 standards in order to be able to compete with larger entities, but at the same time they are way too small to actually afford the consultants such certifications often require. Does Alvanda support this, or would you consider implementing guides to make it easier for small companies to embark on that journey, complete with drilled down sections, subsections, naming conventions for documents etc.? Smaller companies being able to apply for certifications without all the overly salted consultant invoices would make Alvanda an absolute killer app.

Of course!

You're spot on when you say that no procedures are one size-fits all. And they shouldn’t be.

When we talk about how business *should* be done, we refer to the Business Fundamentals that ALL businesses should have, regardless of their niche, size, location, or anything else.

These are Business Fundamentals such as:
1. Correctly defining your company's Mission and using it as the North Start in ALL decision making.
2. Correctly outlining your company's Vision and using it to align all initiatives with it's attainment
3. Correctly building out your company's Organizational Chart and setting crystal clear expectations will every single person you work with.
4. Making sure there IS a specific way repeatable tasks are done, every time, to the same level of quality.
5. Having accountability and transparency across all your operations
6. Etc. etc.

With regards to ISO standards, yes, there are VERY high chances that Alvanda will have Procedure and Process templates in line with such standards, that users will be able to simply clone for themselves. There's almost no reason why not. We're not sure how the business model on that will look like, but safe to say it will be WAAAY cheaper than the consultants you're referring to. :)

Hope this helps, and have a productive week ahead!

(Btw, sorry it took a couple days to reply, I was off during this weekend :)
